Got my VK today!!!

And so far I'm really liking it. I'm using 24mg mint carts, I'm not in love with them, but they're pretty good.
I started using it 5 hours ago, and the first battery out of the box just died (which I assume probably didn't even have a full charge). The vapor was good with the first battery, and now with a freshly charged battery, it is excellent! And I'm still on the first cartomizer. So far so good!

my vapor master batteries that came in the other day lasted about five hours as well...gave them a charge last night and we are on about 9 hours and they show no indication of stopping. My girlfriend has been running around puffing on the other batter/atomizer and it is still going strong since last night. just make sure you give em a good 8-12 hour charge that first time.

Well, I spoke too soon. Right after I posted, the cart started tasting pretty dry, so the carts don't last all day, but still 5 hours is pretty good. I refilled it and it's working great again. And it was really easy to refill, just popped the white thing off with a dental tool, and used a syringe to squirt the juice in. It only took a few seconds.

Yes I got my VK today. This is a very nice piece. First impression very nice. I tried the Mrlboro wow very taste....The mint taste exactly like mint and it blows the smoke 51 and red dragon carts away...I thought the smoke 51 flav was as good as it was going to get but man was I wrong....It felt like I just put a pepermint into my mouth....
A couple of concerns...Im not sure if the battery was charged back at V4L. so I recharged them until the green light came on. The question I have is should i charge them like my other ecigs...6-10 hrs before using them....I didnt have any instruction to do so but still would be good to know for anyone for future reference. Other than that very nice E-cig. Lot of smile going on here today.
The look and feel blows the red dragon out of the water. The draw on the cartridges are better but the smoke 51 carts are a lot easier to refill. Im not sure how to refill these puppies...Quick question for steve, do these batteries charge quick and last more than 2 hours in use?......Other than thanks V4L team you did great Oh did you guys here about smokeing everywhere ecigs sueing FDA..........oh yea........keep it coming....

Ya know....sometimes I've done the long initial charge and other times I haven't. For me, it's never seemed to make a difference, but others say otherwise so who knows?

to be honest I really don't know if it does, in my opinion all Lithium batteries are pretty much toast after about a year of good use. I think it may just be a habit that has been held over from NiMh batteries in the past, its probably still good practice.

The VM is great for around the house!...can't wait to get my VK in to have with me at work during the night...It will be nice to smoke inside a club again.

get one of those dental hooks from your local grocery they are pretty cheap, pop the white thing off and drip into the cart then suck through...or if you have a syringe use that...syringe is probably easier.

FDA is about to be in a lot of trouble from my understanding of the court briefs I've been spending my day researching the law on this case instead of studying for my last college finals ever...but oh well its off to law school anyways next year I need the practice.

Jmoney hey if i get in trouble can I get you as my lawyer......yea Im siked about this law suit...finally over something that really is helping people....and if smoking everywhere is in favor then the Big Tabacco can kiss this ......because the next law suit should be aimed at them...the FDA again for not starting the testing on e-cig juice.

It is the responsibility of the business/corporation to seek FDA registration and/or approval before marketing their product...we are getting off topic...on the charge I don't know for sure I think it is really just a good practice to have with any new battery.

yea your right I dont blame the FDA for having concern but to flat out ban them before testing when so many people have quit analogs is cruel. banning E-cigs will make most of them switch back to analogs, I will be included. I've tried quiting every year for 13 years. The longest I lasted was four months. This is the only thing that has helped... yea maybe your right about the batteries I think Steve once said that he charged them before sending them but with everything going on with customs and him with the flue i just dont know if he had time to charge them.

My mom got hers today. I ordered it on the 7th before the website went up. She said she didn't get any instructions with it so she doesn't know if the battery needed charging or not, or how long to charge, or how to know if it is fully charged. If anyone knows please respond.

This is her first e-cig and she is very excited. She tried the menthol atomizer and said it is very similar to the Menthol Ultralights she has smoked for more than 35 yrs. She said she thinks this will finally help her quit smoking or at least quit inhaling smoke. She's tried the patch and hypnosis to no avail. But in 5 minutes of using the e-cig she thinks this will work. She said the Menthol atomizer has a little stronger mint flavor than Methol anologs but she likes it. She's going to let me know more about what she thinks in the next couple of days.

I'm so excited to think that I may have gotten her a gift that could actually add years to her life. I got one for my brother too and will post what his thoughts are next week. Thanks to Steve for getting everything out.

I hope you get more of these in because I think a lot of people are going to want to know where to get them when they see my mom puffing away anywhere she pleases. To anyone lurking around wondering, these make great gifts. I can't think of any better way to spend a couple of hundred dollars than this when the return on the investment is worth so much more.

The batteries out of the box will have a partial charge. I would say give it a good 8 hour charge for the first time and after that the batteries charge in 4-6 hours. I usually just wait till the light turns green and take it off the charger. These batteries are pretty resilient and last quite a while

I agree regarding the above -- whether the light turns green after a couple hours or not. But I wanted to post that I got mine TODAY, too!! (Ordered 4/6/09.)

I especially appreciated all the "hand-holding" you guys have done to keep us (me) apprised of the VK features, shipping status, juice strengths and flavors, etc., etc. Like I said in another post somewhere, V4L knows how to run a business: top-notch product, coupled with top-notch customer service.

Whoops, had to post again: Somewhere else there is a thread about refilling the cart through the hole on the battery end of the cart. Works great, and you don't have to pry anything off.

I recieved my VK just an hour ago and tried it out and OMG. i love this thing more and more with each drag. the menthol is awesome the cola tastes like...kind root beer ish. the marlboro carts are ok but ill probably just kill those off myself and refill them with my watermelon juice that i have. all in all im loving this vapor king and am definitely SMILIN since the first drag. thank you steve for the the excellent customer service and everyone at V4L for this awesome product. ill post a full review of it later if anyone is interested
