got so hot a hole burnt through the cartridge of my NPRO......

Not sure if anyone has experienced this? One of the batteries I have for my njoy npro was making the cartridges very hot, just now I looked after vaping and there was a small hole that had been 'melted' or burnt through the top of the cartridge (the orange bit)

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys

Yes, they can get quite hot. You may need to have two devices when hitting it hard, switch between the two. Also you may need to check that a button is not sticking on.

My Rn4081(same as npro) has got pretty hot before when really puffing on it but never melting hot

That hasn't been a problem for me. When I notice it getting really warm, I set it aside for a couple of minutes.

Some people have had auto batteries turn themselves on in wind or vibration and burn their pocket.

Did this happen while you were vaping or all by itself? if all by itself, try a manual Rn4081 battery from AZSmokeFree

My NPro would just 'turn on' when I was driving down the road. I didn't have it very long, but I learned to unscrew the cartomizer when it wasn't in use quick!

I am betting something like that happened to you. Are you refilling the cartomizers? I noticed my NPro would start to burn through the fabric after 2 or 3 refills. Maybe try a few less refills.

No.. As it happens I work from home and it lies on the top row of my keyboard keys. Doesn't turn on by itself and I'm not refilling anything. I've been buying the carts from njoy.com and toss them when they're done. I wasn't even aware you *could* refill them until I came here..

Like I said - it's happened a couple of times. I notice the cart gets really quite hot when it's run down - and I therefore suck harder to get a decent hit.. that's when it happens.
