Finally pulled the trigger on some new vape toys. Currently using a brass Nemesis clone with an RSST. After doing a lot of reading and researching, reading reviews, etc... decided on my next move. Ordered a EHPro Copper Caravela Clone and an EHPro kayfun Lite Plus clone. Excited to try out the new gear. If anyone has any tips or tricks about these two items, my ears are wide open! More money into the vape hole....

Thanks everyone! I will give that a go. I just built my first micro last night on my Igo-W. I've always been a sub ohm guy. I'll have to try it on the rsst too when I'm ready to re-wick.

Erm....okay then. ^.-

OT- I like the caravela and love my kayfun. The kayfuns chamber design really makes any flavor come out much bolder than other tanks I have tried. I usually build mine around 1.3-1.6 for the most intense flavor. Anything lower than that(1.1 and below) gives me a burnt flavor that just lingers...yuck.

I get the best vape with vertical micro's. But 99% of the time I am to lazy to do vertical coils so I just build regular micro's on a 1/16th bit w/some cotton.

I'll have to play around with different setups and figure out what I like best. Used the trusty Igo-W for a long time with large flat kanthal doing 3/2 wraps and running about 0.30 ohms. I've only recently stepped up and out of the straight dripping world with the RSST. I am at 0.72 on it right now and the coils seem to last a long time, so I have only rebuilt it twice in about 6 weeks.

the only issue I've found with the Kayfun style attys is a small leak on the fill screw. But this was on my genuine KFL, no problem at all with the clones. Just wrapped a bit of PTFE tape round the screw - problem solved.

I do my coils around the 1.2 - 1.7 ohm mark too. If you can manage a nano coil (1mm diameter) it's even better than a micro-coil in my opinion - heats up even quicker than a micro.

You want to try SS rope in the RSST. For me the flavour on rope is as good as a cotton nano coil in a Kayfun :D

I actually have only used SS rope on the RSST. That is what was recommended to me at the local shop were I bought the atty. They even set up my first coil for me so that I could see how to do it. Mesh just seems like a hassle.

Must admit I found the same thing. I've used almost every wicking material known to the vaping world and could never get a consistent vape with mesh.

Now I just use SS rope with a cotton sheath and micro-coils in my Gennies, cotton nano/micro-coils in my Kayfuns and a normal silica wick in the Taifun - but I only vape Grants Vanilla Custard in that, cotton wicks don't really do it any justice. For me, this is as good as vaping gets :)

Here is the micro quad I built last night in the Igo-W. Super low resistance and rips like a champ. Have to re juice every draw!

Nice looking build there, I can believe you're going through a serious amount of juice with that

Got my stuff in the mail! Haven't built the Kayfun yet, but the Copper Caravela is REALLY nice! Hands down better than the Brass Nemi Clone that I have been using. I know people talk very highly of the Nemesis clones, but this Caravela puts it to shame in finish, quality, feel, appearance, functionality, etc... Best purchase I have made in vape gear so far.

Haha! The Caravela Clone I ordered with only 18650 mode as that is all I use. There are optional tubes for smaller batteries. Even without having the 18350 tube, I can pretty much guarantee that the Caravela is the shortest. It is at least half an inch shorter than my Nemesis. Both the top cap and the button assembly are slimmer.

I just got the Caravela clone a couple of days ago (the one with all 3 tube sizes) in brass. I agree, it is a superb device. Low voltage drop, nice short switch throw, but hard enough that it won't self fire when set down. Engravings look really well done too. The only small negative for me, was the lack of delrin insulation in the switch - so I can only use certain batteries in it. But overall I'm really impressed with it, for the price it's a cracker :D

Where exactly are you seeing the lack of insulation? I only really use one battery type, so I may not have even noticed.

Most of the mods I have, have a delrin washer inside the switch base, except for the caravela and my chi-you. Helps to stop self firing with some batteries. The grey Panny batts I have don't have the plastic sleeve that wraps around and underneath the negative pole of the battery, so they can self fire in mods that don't have the delrin insert.

If you look at the base of the battery here :

and compare it to the base on this one :

you'll be able to see what I mean :D

I see what you are saying between the two batteries, although I think that mine actually does have an insulation washer. Is your switch different than mine or is the washer not big enough or something?
