I am trying to create a Blueberry Cupcake flavor (similar to Flavorz by Joe Lady Blue "Smurfette" but with a "gothic" type flavor. There is a eliquid manufacturer in our area that is called Black Cauldron and every one of their flavors has this gothic cauldron type hint to them. Even their simple strawberry shortcake has this gothic cauldron like hint to it.

I can't find or think of what flavoring they might be adding to give it that effect? I would like to create a BlueBerry Cupcake with a full body flavor (thick even flavor) with a hint of gothy/cauldrony/darnkess.

Can anybody help?

I purchased from TPA:

  • Vanilla Cupcake-15ml
  • Blueberry (Wild) Flavor-4ml
  • Blueberry Flavor (Extra)-4ml
  • Sweet Cream Flavor-4ml
  • Whipped Cream Flavor-4ml
  • Sweetener-4ml
  • Cheesecake Flavor-4ml

I also purchased a premixed 250ml 6mg 50/50% mix of nicotine liquid.

If anyone can post what the additional flavor(s) I could use, that would be really helpful.

Also amounts for the recipe would be helpful as well, thanks!!!

Is it a hint of black licorice? Anise? That's the only thing that I would imagine goth tastes like.

That's what I was thinking.. I really hate to try a batch and it come out crappy but I think I'm going to have to give possibly anise a try.

Something like a wee-tiny bit of FA's Perique Black or Dark Vapure seems Goth-ish to us...but it'd have to be a WEE-tiny bit to not overwhelm the brew.

Oh, I didn't see this when ordering! Also found "Dragon's Blood (dark & spicy) Fragrance Oil" you are a genius! I think I might be onto something. Tiny bits though.

It's definitely a flavor that isn't pronounced, and it's in the background. Something I don't really recognize as something I could describe as a flavor I've tried. It just gives it this "dark/gothy" hint to it (sounds dumb but if you tried the flavors by them you'd understand, they literally put it in every flavor because their theme is "gothic/dark juices".

Thank you guys!!!

=D
