Okay, so my old mvp died ) : not a huge deal because my new istick 50w was getting 90% of my vaping activity anyway. But that leaves me with no backup as well as having to remember to lower the wattage any time I switch from the sub ohm tanks to the rest. Averaging about 1 hot burnt hit a day, and it's gotta stop! I have about $150 I was planning on spending on a new dripping rig (still researching my options on that as well btw) so, here is my question. With the budget being $150, and the goal being obtaining a vw mod and a dripper, as well as a vw mod to be used as a backup/ lower wattage option for my old tanks, what would you go with? Not really wanting another istick, although it's a very nice device, I'm not a big fan of repeats in my collection. thanks for any input.

Put it in the wrong place, my bad .

I just ordered another iStick, but the 30W this time. I have the 50W on order, but wanted something a little smaller that could handle more than the 20W or 10W. Found a price cheaper than Fasttech's price by using an 11% off coupon 'WickFire' at Mt. Baker Vapor

Granted, iSticks are the only 'mods' that I own or have experience with, but if it weren't for their price, size, features, and battery life, I never had any plans on buying any kind of mod. I don't even use my eGos anymore.

Thinking about the k box for a simple affordable backup.

Sounds like time for you to get a replaceable battery mod and a charger.

kbox:
Details:

•Spring loaded 510
•Fit with 0.4ohm or above atomizer
•Heat dissipation vent
•Variable wattage from 8W to 40W
•Click the power button 5 times within 3 seconds to turn ON/OFF
•Short circuit protection
•Over current protection
•Reverse polarity protection
•Low resistance protection (lower than 0.4ohm)
•Over use 10-second protection
•Houses single 18650 battery (battery sold separately): The battery should have an output of 20A or above
$28 at ft

that sounds pretty good
a spring loaded 510 on a regulated mod; nice.
