Im also posting this in gotvapes so please don't think its spam...

I just got my order from gotvapes in, I ordered a pack of vortexes, large 2.8 CE2 fluxomizers (the new ones) and 2.4 fluxomizers (same new, but the small .9ml), one of the new clearomizers, a giantomizer and some other things for my wife and her father.

Anyway, just filled up a fluxomizer with a mixture of BB and Hype, put it on my mini, and waited...and waited. Thing wasn't wicking at all! Got a burnt draw from it even though I knew it wasnt wicking...

Anyway, I read through a few posts about the fluxomizers, pulled out the black plug on top of the ceramic cup (both parts). Kinda started wicking after waiting a few minutes. Got a light draw, little vapor...

So i figured what the heck, I blind squonked, stopped after the gurgle and vaped it. Holy crap is all I can say, this is the most vapor I've gotten after a 2 sec draw! Seriously, it feels cleaner than my Boge carto somehow, a cloud of, no kidding, vapor I couldn't see through (after the inhale), and really clean clear taste.

Using this thing is like atty users for dummies (me), It gives a pretty darn good flavor, similar to the few times I can actually use an atty right on my Mini, but so much simpler, and I dont have to worry about flooding it cause it just goes into the tank!. I also have an extra .9 ml of juice I can use if I run out in my bottle!

Ill post again after a few days use but so far I'm really liking this!

Sounds great. You might be the innovator of using fluxomizers on a REO. I honestly didn't even think that it would work but since you say it's giving an incredible vape then I might just try some of those out one day to see how I like it.

Always been interested in filler-less cartomizers for a while now and so, this might be my chance.

I'm really enjoying it. Im glad I ordered the 2.4 in the small size cause my father in law doesn't like the small tanks, so I have 5 I can use. I think I'll keep the boges on backup status.

I found you CAN squonk fill it like a carto, IF you remove the plug and tilt it slightly to the side. Do a long blind squonk with the gurgles, then do a couple light draws to pull the liquid past the cup and it drains into the tank. I imagine you would have to be a bit more careful with thinner juices than I'm using, but it is wicking fairly well now, and if it starts to taste "dry" just do a light blind squonk to rewet the wick on top.

BTW I am using a drip tip, I can't stand using the flat plugs.

Yep I've done it a few times with the short ones.

Other have said the XL work too with squonking but I tried once and it was too much work.

But I've ran 4 or 5 short ones on mine when I was too lazy to clean an atty :)
I haven't tried the new ones yet, but the old ones worked better on a REO than they did for anything else.
You didn't have to worry about wicking because the juice shoots right up the air tube to the coil.

Thanks for posting, I might throw a box of the new ones on next order.

Qwick (is that spelled right? Daughter didnt go to sleep till 230am and now im for pt at 530am) note you do need to either
remove the cup plug and use the top plug alone NOT flush against the cup or jiggle both plugs up a smidgen to allow a bit better juice flow and squonk filling. Otherwise if you squonk it goes straight into your mouth :(

That sounds like the voice of experience :)

so after trying this with the top plug only, place top plug flush on the top and use the drip tip to push it in, on the way into pt (and no pt...) found it doesnt allow easy squonk filling, so out with both plugs for me! i can see this thing leaking if left on its side for to long since there arent any plugs to stop the liquid, but if you use it like an atty, squonking it every now and then then you can use the thinner plug.

Well been using this for about a day and a half now with a mix of BB and Hype. I guess this mix is to thick and/or sweet cause I'm getting a burnt taste already. I looked at the coil and it is already gunked up, Guess I need to clean and dry burn it.

I can still squonk and use it, but now I can only get about 2-3 hits off of it before it tastes burnt again. Still lots of vapor, and if you call burnt a flavor lol then lots of flavor still as well. I guess I need to use thinner juice.

Update: These are gonna go on the back shelf and I'm going back to the boges until I get some thinner juices in.

I tried some Mrs T strawberry lemonade in my second fluxo and I'm getting a burnt ashy taste after less than a day, I guess Mrs T's juices have a lot of VG?

I posted this in the GOTVAPES forum to describe the issue.
So i took my first fluxomizer (2.4ohm, .9ml smokey) apart to clean it yesterday and I noticed after I removed the tube that the wick is cut half way through on both sides. The wick has "strands" that extend from the bottom up to the cup, but at the cup they don't actually enter the cup or coil cause they are cut. I tried to gently remove the cut strands of the wick, but the rest of the wick just fell apart on me.

For the second Fluxo I put in some Mrs T strawberry lemonade, and I am starting to get that same burnt ashy taste after less than a day.

I looked at my second fluxomizer and it has the same issue with the wick. This may explain the issues Im having with my juice not wicking well (i know the other primary issue is that my juice is kinda thick.) I used a mix of BB and hype in my first fluxo, i got that burnt ashy taste after a day and a half.

Is there any way to fix this issue?

I really like the flavor and large amounts of vapor I get out of these things, but I think I'm gonna put them on the back shelf until I can find out why I'm having these problems.

BTW I am using these without the plugs at all, so thats not causing the wicking issues. Once I get my orders for juice in (thinner, 70/30 pg/vg) then Ill try it again.

So for now I have to change my original recommendation from OMG these are the best! to, I think these would work great for thin juices but if you like HIGH VG or thick juices (BB im looking directly at you, OMG you're almost empty!) then I wouldn't recommend them.

Thats pretty much been the problem with the CE2 Fluxomizers from day one :)

Theres a big thread with about 3K posts on how to mod them.

The burn't taste happens with even the thin juice. I had to use the 3.XΩ at 3.7 to avoid burning ... but then its really cool.
Great flavor and good production but not hot like I need.

I think you will find out like thousands of other have that there are just better things out there.
Good or great but not consistent is not really that good after all.

imagine them on a mod with no feed, those things are supposed to keep up without squonking.
They never did for me so thats why I tried them on the REO but I never kept one on for more than an hour.
