between here and there
Just got my fluxomizers in, I filled them up as per the directions and did the fluffing thing but all I can taste is that "filter hit" taste. Are the white strands of wick supposed to be covering the heating element in the center. I watched some youtube vids but I'm not seeing anything special they are doing.

Here is a link to a discussion on these within the forum. Real discussion start around post #7 Hope it helps.

Having had some experience with these clear models now, I think I can honestly say that they either work well right out of the pack, or they don't work at all. I've said these things were good in the past, but after a string of duds, I'm personally done with them.

If you still want to get some mileage out of them though, and this is going to sound dirty, but I found that sucking air through them without vaping can sometimes help to get the wick going right. That's just anecdotal, though, not proven by any sort of science or logic. I just remembered reading something about improper airflow through the cartridge and decided to give it a try.

I really wish they'd get these cartomizers to a more reliable standard. I don't think they do enough quality assurance checks on the product.

IMO...the MAP Tank is the only way to use a CE2R4 carto...
The standard tubes don't allow proper wicking.

I would have to agree. I've always like the performance of them, when they work right: nothing is better. Not sure why they work so well in the MAP with not PTB mods or anything.

How did you fill yours? I got some and found the instructions not so useful. Watched some videos. I finally ended up buying some syringes and filled that way. So far, I'm not impressed, I think they're more trouble than they're worth.

I did the straight syringe thing on the first couple, one was DOA, then I got on youtube and did the method I saw there that involves taking the tube apart and cutting the wicks. I think I may just end up getting a vapemate with some higher res attys, I've been using a 2.5ohm atty at 6v and they are burning out like crazy.

Just started vaping and bought two packs of these. First try and two of them don't seem to work, they just short out my battery. The concept of these is awesome, but they are so unreliable. I've got two working now and they work great, but I'm not into a product that half of them don't work.

Where did you get them and what resistance did you order?

I bought 2 packs of the 2.4-2.6 from Got Vapes and have been rotating 4 of them for about 2 week now without any problems.
I modded 2 of them by cutting the wicks but don't see alot of difference. Drip filling works but seems to leave more air bubbles in the cart then using a needle. My only complaint is I should have got the XL's.

I received my Fluxomizer's today (regular size), and was immediately surprised by how small they are. Now, the only problem I have with the is that the juice gets stuck between the wicks, therefore creating parts with no juice, and therefore giving burnt hits.

I have to roll my PV around for the juice to get distributed. But that's easier said that done. The wicks acts as a barrier. The tubing is just too narrow for the ce2.

It's a great idea but unfortunately falls short performing.

Will try the XL's once they are back in stock.

If you take out the filler ring and fill.. Put that ring back in upside down. This will free up the wick. The way they come clamps the wick in the cup preventing good flow. You can also pull the tube off and heat the wicks to red hot and burn off anything left over from manufacturing. Dry burn before filling and off you go. If you already filled just pull the tube rinse and dry with paper towel and do the two mentioned steps. Don't use a lighter. Butane torch or stove. Careful not to melt the black shrink tube on the stem and cup. Good luck.

Take the ce2 out through the bottom? I only got an eGO battery so dry burning would be pretty hard, right?
I'll take out the ce2 here shortly and see if I can improve the layout of the wicks...

Edit: taking out the ce2 was really easy, washed & dried the wicks. Will fill 'er up and see if that made a difference!

You need to dry burn the coil before filling. Also try burning the wicks over the stove and see if anything burns off. Just rinsing won't change anything. Dry burning is easy... just dry wicks with paper towel. leave plastic tube off. hold botton down until coil is red hot. hold for a few seconds and release. repeat 5-10 times until everything is burned off and the wick in the coil is white. Put plastic tube back on and fill. Put silicone ring in upside down and push to make sure it is seated against the top of the cup. Vape and enjoy

well - I bought some of these about 3 weeks ago - and I absolutely love them.

The main down side is fillin them - the little plastic needle is a proper pain to use - I replaced it with a real needle and life was much easier. Even easier still was removing the silicone plug at the top and drippin my juice in down the side.

On the plus side I have never had such a great tasting, consistent vape from anything else (I have used 501, 901 and B112 attys and numerous other cartos)

I have not had one dud ( 12 used so far ) I have done no mods and never had any wicking issues although I would say that gettin the last 2 or 3 drops out of them is near on impossible.

I watched a vid on u tube sayin that there was no need for burnin the wicks and dry burnin prior to use because they have nothing on them to burn off - he demonstrated this by holding the wick under a lighter and no smoke was given off. From my experience I believe it too, I can't taste anything but glory even when used straight out the pack. If I can find the vid I'll post a link later.

The XL versions are much better IMO just cause the smaller one just need fillin too often.

I vape 50/50 pg/vg juice but have heard that think pure vg juices can be somewhat problematic.

Just thought I throw my experiences into the mix as there maybe others that will love them too.
