We purchased some kanger T3's because of a review from a friend/trusted reviewer ( we pretty much don't buy anything until we watch said person's reviews ) i feel like the name of the reviewer doesnt need to be mentioned. After reading the forum rules, i have seen that posting of the conversations is a no-no, which in a way is a "win" for any company that is being accused of sub-par customer service? ( because obviously i can't disclose the convo ).
Regardless, i will say that in the end my gf, who started the ticket, handled it the wrong way, but i do believe that the way she was talked to incited her subsequent behavior..
To summarize, we ordered 2 of the metal kanger t3's and extra heads at whatever the highest they carry on-site ( memory fails me, but it doesnt matter ) got them in the mail ( fast shipping btw ) and filled with our juice of choice for each, 1 was a 70/30 blend the other a 60/40...then as i always do with filling anything, i set them off to the side and "forgot" about them for 10-15 mins.. we then ohm checked them on the provari and they tested out to be 2.8 ohm, so we put one on the provari at 4.3-4.4v? and 1 on a lavatube at 4.4v and everything was ok, until the 3rd hit on both, then the dreaded burnt/plastic taste....so after a pretty long facebook session with "the reviewer" and many other people...he was confused and offered advice, after a couple hours and no resolution, he then took the same kanger t3 from got vapes ( the 1 he reviewed came from a different company and he loved it ) and went through the same process as we all do when filling our stuff and this was his response..
(his name ) has enough of other .... to do. This is ....ing ridiculous. It's no wonder why there are so many ...... off, confused, and unsatisfied vapers. No wonder why there are some people who like the T3 and some don't. If this was the experience I got from the T3 in the shootout, it would have come out on the bottom and then everyone who loves them (or got good ones) would have been disagreeing with me up and down! This industry is ....ing killing itself. Lack of testing, lack of consistency, and everyone knocking off everyone else. (his name) is cranky.
so even after all that, we opened another head and checked it again, again it tested out at 2.8ohm, but this time we set the provari at 4.0v and after 5-6 hits , got the same burnt taste, so she opened a ticket asking for a refund....at first she got the usual ( expected response ) what voltage are you set on, what juice are you using etc..no problems there, they are just trying to educate themselves about the situation..
so she goes on and tells them the voltage, juice etc...and their response was "idk what to tell you, i use them at 3.7v on my provari and just opened a new one and it works fine, maybe you just got a bad lot" .
didnt offer a refund, but they stated that maybe we recieved "bad" equipment...
then 30 mins later, a different person messaged, saying "we dont even carry 2.8 ohm heads, and even if we did, using them at 4.4v would definetly burn them" even said that we should be using the 2.4ohm heads at 3.7v.....now, i've been vaping for a year ( on many different products/attys ) and know damn well i can vape something measured out at 2.8ohm safely at 4.4v?
then a few minutes later another person messaged and asked "where did you get a 2.8ohm head? we dont even carry those"
and yes, inevitably she lost her "cool" after that, i mean when the owner says " maybe you got a bad lot " and leaves it at that without offering to atleast exchange them for different heads, then insinuating that after a full year of vaping that she doesnt know what shes doing, then implying that she is lying ( because all 3 heads we tested checked in at 2.8ohm )...yeah, she got pretty rude.
I will be the first person to apologize for the way she responded, it WAS out of line, BUT it probably could of been avoided if you didnt treat her like she was stupid
