So I ordered some Fluxomizers from Gotvapes during the weekend and I got a tracking number for it. I know that Gotvapes is located in Texas but the USPS tracker is showing that the product was accepted for shipment in Whitestone, NY yesterday (Wierd?) and that is very close to where I live (11354). I could literally crawl to Whitestone in under 5 minutes.

So I have a few questions,

Do you have an undercover agent in Whitestone, NY or is this just a mistake with the tracker?

If it isn't a mistake, why isn't my product here? Do I need to slap someone at USPS?

Sincerely,

- Louis

Bad has posted recently that he's experienced problems with stuff sitting in his local NY Post Offices before moving out. I've seen that in some of my recent orders from other vendors too. Stuff will sit a day or two in the Post Office in a major city, and once the package moves out into the less populated hinterlands, it moves right along.

Don't know what the heck is going on......But it's only happening with the USPS.

I am having trouble too. I ordered stuff 10/18/11. The order said Whitestone, NY on 10/19, 10/20, 10/21, 10/22, 10/23, 10/24, 10/25. And sat there as a First Class Delivery Confirmation "Shipment Accepted".

On 10/20 USPS site: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action

said expected delivery 10/22. But as above, no move out of Whitestone, NY recorded even as of yesterday, 10/25/11.

Today October 26,2011 that USPS website says "Processed thru Sort Facility" (in my town finally), but the stupid USPS says right next to that "Processed" sentence,

"expected Delivery October 22".

I hope I just get my order, sigh, before the next millenium.

I wish we could use UPS.

This is from an earlier post of mine...

"Yeah, my mother retired from the PO in 2006 as a distribution supervisor & used to tell me how f....d the USPS was going to get in the future. Her words not mine! Policies were being put in place, that the only real workers now are the 50 & 60 somethings with experience that are going to be retiring soon. The new younger class don't really have anyone to direct them & mainly watch the conveyors rolling along & gotta call someone in the head office if there's a problem, mind you that is based on a specific region & not necessarily in the same building! She was also ...... at the favoritism that was shown to the brown nosers who never got anything done.

Now that she's retired & living in WA, whenever she walks in to the local PO they cringe cause she still gets the supervisor newsletter from the USPS & if she knows policy is not being followed, she tears them a new one giving them the date when said policy was initiated and aren't following postal code. She tells me don't take s..t from these stupid a.s p....s!

Best part of this story-I can rag on the PO now, & not feel guilty about it!!!"

Also, it seems things are the opposite on my end...my parcels actually leave NY in a day or two, it's the Hawaii PO that sits on my stuff. Strange.

Check this out and mind you that I live at Zip Code 11354,

-October 26, 2011 16:47:00 BROOKLYN, NY 11256 PROCESSED THROUGH USPS SORT FACILITY
-October 26, 2011 16:47:00 BROOKLYN, NY 11256 ORIGIN ACCEPTANCE
-October 25, 2011 17:22:00 WHITESTONE, NY 11357 SHIPMENT ACCEPTANCE
-October 23, 2011 11:36:00 11357 Electronic Notification

Why is my package so far away now? I don't get the logic behind this because couldn't they have just sent it to Linden Hill, 11354, which is a closer USPS branch.

They don't ship packages from branch to branch, they ship from branch to hub to branch. If you were to mail a letter across the street, the mailman wouldn't just walk it across the street... It would go into the truck, to the hub to process, back into the truck, and delivered. It still shouldn't take that freakin long though!

Here's mine:

Processed through USPS Sort Facility, October 26, 2011, 8:04 pm, PORTLAND, OR 97218
Processed through USPS Sort Facility, October 25, 2011, 6:58 pm, BETHPAGE, NY 11714
Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility, October 25, 2011, 6:58 pm, BETHPAGE, NY 11714
Shipment Accepted, October 25, 2011, 5:22 pm, WHITESTONE, NY 11357
Electronic Shipping Info Received, October 24, 2011

I should get my package today, and I ordered a day after you did! WTF? Maybe you should move farther away?

Since Bad is in NYC and Danno is in Texas, I think what they need is someone on the West Cost to help out with shipping. Preferably in a Major Metropolitan area like Orange County. That way the Entire USA would be blanketed by gotvapes shipping centers.

I just happen to live in Orange County 5 minutes from a Main USPS Sort Center. I also have about 2,000 feedback points on e-Bay selling everything from CD's to Kayaks.

So the logical thing would be for me to ship everything West of the Rockies. That, and of course, to try out New Products.

:D

Maybe Bad and Danno should just sell us all a franchise, 1 to each state, this would cover everybody and and instantly put Gotvapes as the largest retailer in the USA :) I call the PA Franchise !

WOOT...another EXCELLENT IDEA....this would be very good for us..eerrr,,I mean Gotvapes :) :vapor:

Sorry Amy.

But Illinois, as well as most states (with the exception of California), has a law saying that you Can’t ship gotvapes products.

And besides, I thought of it First.
