This won't fire on my Ego-C 650mah battery but it will on my Ego-T 1000mah. Which product is at fault? This is specifically designed for use with eGo's.

You guys nailed it. It was just a contact problem. It has outer eGo threading, apparently one of the other clearos I was using must have pushed the post down. Product at fault- my brain.

Most of these type of problems happen when the middle post in the cart and battry do not make a good contact. things to check. 1.raise the center post in cart - 2. clean the connections - 3. try with a different battery 4. try a different cart on the battery --- there a alot of different combo's that could be tried, a meter could help in finding out where the connection is missing. the 1.st thing I always do is number 1, the center post is most often the problem.

You may have to use a paper clip to pull the center pin of the battery UP a wee bit. I have a 650 with that same problem occasionally.

Put the clip beside the edge of the brass plate inside the 510 connection of the batt, and gently pry it up a little bit on 4 sides. I believe there's a rubber gasket around that plate, and it DOES move a bit. That solves the problem for me, but it's only temporary. I look forward to replacing that batt soon.

Good luck! :)

I have no idea where I'm at
Definitely a contact problem. Is it a joye or knockoff. Sometimes the knockoffs have lower manufacturing standards. Get a meter and check the voltage (is can be difficult, if you can get someone to fire it while you check all the easier). If the voltage is fine, then it is definitely a contact problem. If the center post won't come up enough, get a 510 to 510 adapter, that should do it.

BTW, how is that cart? I bought one last year and still haven't gotten around to trying it yet!

It fires off like a bonfire. I probably shouldn't have got the LR version 2.4-6 vs 2.6-8 ohms. Seems to hit well, but right now has a horrible taste. I think it's the machine oil residue that I should have flushed out first. I'll toss the 2ml of Boba's I put in there and try again.

I was wondering if it wasn't a safety shut down on the eGo-C joyetech battery because of the HUGE draw this thing has. I'll try pulling the post up.

Glad you got that thang figured out!

BTW - If ego batts have an auto shut down, I've never encountered it, and I'm using two 650's, two 900's and a PT. I continuously abuse these things with constant use (Fluxomizers, Stardusts and Stone tanks...all Gotvapes stuff - in both SR and LR where available) and they've never failed me...'cept when the brass plate gets pushed down too far. I think one of my cartos is to blame for the batt problem, but I haven't figured out which one.

Let us know how that phoenix works after you break it in. I haven't tried it yet. :)
