I got a pack of GotVapes brand new 1.5 ml PHOENiX cartomizers in over two weeks ago, and I must say that I am blown away by them, or maybe I should say it, because I still haven't even opened a second one.

In the past, I've used the standard Boge cartos, the original CE2s (the ones with leaking issues), and more recently the Fluxomizers from GotVapes. Cartomizers have typically lasted me about 4-5 days before they start to get a burnt taste, and production starts to drop significantly. I have enjoyed the Fluxomizers quite a lot, but just felt like trying something new for a change. I am really glad I did!

When I got the pack in, I kinda screwed up by not reading the directions and went with my standard way of filling them up with the mouth-side facing up. Big mistake, as juice comes flying out the bottom just as fast as you pour it in. You MUST fill them upside down in order to avoid a mess (and loss of juice)!!

Now, the vapor production and flavor didn't really blow me away, it seemed pretty comparable to the Fluxomizers, which is what I am used to. Which is in no way bad, its quite good, just nothing extraordinary. However, what really impresses me (understatement) is just how much juice this thing can pump out before I have to trash it!! I actually don't even know what this point is because I haven't gotten to it yet. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it outlasts my 30ml bottle of Hazelnut from VaporRenu because it hasn't slowed down yet and I'm getting to the bottom of the bottle. I probably fill it up 1.5-2 times per day (although there was about 4 days that I didn't use it in between), so I would say that I've put at least 10ml of juice through this thing if I'm being conservative.

If you hadn't guessed by now, I absolutely love these things, and if you are looking for a cartomizer that just goes and goes indefinitely, look no further, this baby doesn't disappoint!

the phoenix xl was the best vape ive ever had. if they all could have been like the first 2 in the pack, i would get nothing else.

I agree when they work they are fabulous! I am just finishing up two that are working and I sort of dread refilling them incase they burn on me like my last one did. Last time I refilled they did not work again. I cleaned one and the wick was fried in the middle and giving off a burnt taste. I think the coil positioning is the problem on some, and they burn. Someone said you can pull up the coil, but I am not sure how much?? bnrk

throw that crap in the garbage ! the e1 revive carto from discountvapers rules. im tired of gotvapes stuff not working! these work great, are on the cheap side and all parts are replacable. check em out!

I will look into them, the rebuild part is a very nice feature. Right now I am using Kanger clearos
Kanger 2ohm EgO Clear'o'mizer
and I like them, no burning at all, no dry hits. They are a bit of pain to fill, but finally have that part figured out, just do it slowly drip by drip :) I am not getting quite as good of a flavor hit that the Phoenix give, but this is close and they work! That is a big issue for me, I want something that works without duds. bnrk

I love how everyone praises the innovation of gotvapes... They buy their crap from China just like everyone else. You can buy all your crap directly form china as well. Look on Alibaba.com. Until there is a "perfect" carto that produces great vapor, lasts a LONG time, and isn't a pain in the ... to fill, gotvapes is a good place to buy experimental cartos. I do endorse gotvapes, but lets face it, some of the products they re-sell have a spotty track record.

Right now I am stuck on the micro strech visions they sell. They are in the right price range, they perform well right out of the box, my ego cone fits over them, and last me about a month before I feel the need to toss one. I am a chain vaper and my ego never leaves my hand all day. There's something strange with the vision micro strechs, they seem to work better than the bigger visions. The only down side is they collect juice in the mouthpice, and if you dont keep an eye on it you will drag juice into your mouth. I am aware of this issue and flick it out when it gets full. With this compromise, I have found them to be great!

The phoenix's intruige me though, I will likely buy a pack to play with.

I tried their bigger phoenix and it was like sucking vape through a cotton ball. I will have to try the vision vape as I chain smoke too. I just got some ce3's from Rick at vaporalley and they rock. The tips also fit on my boge's. They are vaping perfectly and I am chain vaping with my ego. A pack of 5 with needle and tips was pretty cheap and shipping was quick. So happy I found a winners

So far so good with my second one, the thing that really impressed me was how long the first one lasted, really getting bang for my buck which is something I've never felt like I got before now. The flavor and vapor production is a bonus for me. I'm really hoping my last three will work and last me like these first two have because I've been really happy so far...

The ce3 and phoenix look identical in the 1.3 ml size. Phoenix from got vapes and ce3 Xl from vaper alley. I just filled the ce3 up for the 3rd time and it is rocking. Will write more when I get my 3ml lower ohm one from got vapes as the higher omn one was awful with burnt taste and dry hits even at higher voltage. These work better with mostly pg juice. I put about 20 percent Vg with it on my ego.

I had the same problem with the 3ml. I think mine is 2.6 to 2.8 ohm. I'd get a dry hit, take a couple of quick draws without firing to counter that, get a gurgly, juice-in-the mouth hit, blow that out, get a dry hit, etc. Having said that, when it did wick correctly, it was outstanding -- great flavor and a vapor cloud I had to wave away to see my computer screen. Those hits were good enough to make me refill it twice despite the problems. I ordered some lower ohm replacement tubes, and I really hope they work. I very much want to love this.

Perhaps one of you experts can suggest a fix for me. I ordered some Phoenix Bottom Coils from Gotvapes(almost miraculously fast shipping by the way), watched the how to videos, filled from the bottom with the enclosed syringe, let it sit a bit, took a couple dry pulls and vaped away. Nice, draw was a bit airy but the flavor was excellent and the throat hit adequate. I was impressed as I had become very disillusioned with regular and dual coil cartos. So I vaped away the whole tank. Happy so far. Then the problems began. Took it off and refilled(again ,from the bottom as instructed--it was a different juice but I can't imagine that would matter) and then....nothing. Wouldn't fire. Acted almost like atomizers used to when you popped one. Just no action at all.

OK, new product, possible user error so i got another out of the five pack, started over and same result. First fill, very nice...refill, nothing. I really want to like this product but if i only get 1.4ml out of each one 2 bucks a piece is kind of pricey.

Any ideas?

I've went through nearly 50 or so since SteelJan Youtubed about them. Got most from GotVapes, then supported my local Altsmoke(elite-something-or-other is the name). Approximately 15-20% are DOAs or have something else wrong with them, according to my provari. I'll get the over current error when I'm running a 2.4-2.6 at 3.7v... Some E2s, 4s, and the rare e8.
-However these clearos/cartos are the best I've used. I vape like a fiend(5 mL a day) and when the Phoenixes work, they purr like a kitten. :)
