I can't see the word Tucson without smiling. When my kids were little their uncle lived there and we jokingly called it "tuck son" My oldest came home from school one day and said "dad you're wrong about where Uncle Dan lives It's not pronounced tuckson it got a silent c. I then had to explain or at least try to that we just did it to be funny we knew what it really was.
