Thanks guys, everything is moving super slow for me today. Even the game board is slow to take my color. Gonna have to have hubby take a look and see what is going on. Must be a slow connection on my end.
I was getting errors earlier just after I got into work the few times I checked... but that was much earlier and this is the first time I've had a little time to check back so I'm not certain how long it was going on for.
I'm not happy that you were having problems but am happy to know that it wasn't just me.
I came in about 7:30 this morning and everything was moving super slow. Thinking it was just me, I restarted my laptop. Forgot about the dreaded updates windows insists on doing everytime I shut down and restart
Problem was still there once all that was done. Took almost an hour to get through all of them. Things do seem to be moving a bit faster now though so I am thinking it was the server I was connected to.
I wasn't too worried about not getting to ECF since I was just checking in so to speak...
The slowness due to Windows Update is pretty normal ( as you know )... to avoid it, on Win Vista and newer, go to the Control Panel -> Windows Update often and at times you choose so you can control more of when it's happening instead of just when the computer decides... it won't help all of the time but it can help some of it. At least that way, it'll be slow more at the times you choose...

Thanks rd. Hubby has mine set not to update whenever it chooses. He is going to look into whether or not it can be set to not update when restarting.

Microsoft released an update yesterday. They probably released server updates as well so I guess there's just a lot of traffic on the internet.

Arkansas ACT 1235 (SB978)
Arkansas ACT 1235 (SB978) is officially in full effect as of today, July 21, 2015. The bill classifies vapor products as tobacco products thereby inherently prohibits any online retail or direct online B2C sales of any "vapor product, alternative nicotine product or e-liquid product" to occur within the Arkansas state line. In addition to disallowing online retail sales relating to any vaping product, all brick & mortar retail locations within Arkansas must now obtain licenses in order to sell vaping products within the state.
