So when I added the part about the Deluminate extension for chrome to my sig line it broke and I lost my banners. I still had an open window with them showing and was able to inspect the code and restore my banners but it seems that now my Got Vapes banner is no longer changing to reflect the number of days - its been on 1556 days since that happened so i don't know if I broke it or what the deal is. I tried to make another one through the banner site (not that I remember now what data I used when i made it) but that doesn't seem to be working either.
Anybody have any ideas or noticed the same thing?

The new software caches a lot of things to increase speed, which means that banners that update don't get updated very often.

Huh that would make sense but its pulling the graphic from an external source so I dont think it would be cached. Though since I don't know anything about the new software who knows lol

ok must be the caching thing cuz if I put the link straight into a different browser window it pulls up the banner correctly.

This forum caches the images to help keep the speeds up... they are looking into a good compromise and a way to update the cache more often to address these types of issues. So it wasn't you making changes that caused it...

I tried to make a banner from GV quite some time ago and it never worked on the times I tried ... I ended up giving up and now just make my own but they aren't dynamic and don't update etc
