Good morning everyone. I am back...... I think.
The sun is finally shining after our storms last night and it's going to be a wonderful day.

Our suburb what hit by a huge thunderclap in the middle of the night and the power surge took out our outside fuse box. Hubby had to brave the elements and fix by torch
The morning was spent checking all our electrical devices and appliances to make sure everything is ok. My kettle is sounding a bit fried. Oops. Need more cups of tea.

We have surge protection inside for all the main electronics so they are ok. Seems the kitchen took the brunt. My microwave has gone, the toaster is looking a bit dodgy and the kettle sound bad. I suppose if that's the worst then we were lucky. Or neighbour lost their water heater which was on a separate circuit. I would be really grumpy without hot water.
Hubby is out checking all his machinery in the shed. Luckily he unplugs everything so it looks ok. He would be devastated if anything was damaged.
