Gourmet Vapor.com ejuice

Hello everyone, I don't want to speak poorly of anyone in the vaping industry, BUT I bought some gourmet vapor ejuice.... It was not good, actually very bad, pretty gross in my opinion. I have tried a few vendors. I was intrigued by gourmet vapors sight and the abundance of interesting sounding flavors. Keep in mind I was started out on Backwoods brew juice which is great and of very high quality. It just shines through, the flavors, the throat hit, the way it vapes so well at different voltages. I felt that gourmetvapor.com juice was of poor quality with a watered down consistency. I'm glad I only sampled 5 ml bottles of which I will be throwing in the trash. I'm not trying to be abrasive but It just was NOT good at all. I AM A BIG FAN OF BACKWOODS BREW AND MS. T'S BAKERY, WHO PRODUCE A WONDERFUL PRODUCT.....Thanks everyone and keep on vaping.

I'm sorry you had that experience with GV. I happen to like many of their juices, though no longer order any of their pre-mixed juices... I tweak all my own on there. If you haven't done it yet, I strongly suggest not throwing those away. Consider selling them in a bundle or find the Pay it Forward thread or Treasure Chest on here. Trouble is indeed right that taste is subjective and even though you had a poor reaction to these (and again, I do apologize) someone else will most certainly want them, even just to try. Go make a trade on Treasure Chest or consider helping someone in need and just giving it away. I enjoy BWB and Ms. T's too, but personally still love GV. I have no need for extra juices right now but I'm sure there's someone who does.

Out of many GV samples I've tried, several are in my 'flavor stable'. BUT this is also true for VR, PV, FSUSA, RS, etc.

In fact, I've ordered from a couple of highly touted suppliers here that I probably won't try again, just because their 'line' did nothing for me and my taste buds. But I'm not gonna bad mouth 'em just because my taste preferences are unique to me.

As others have said flavor is completely subjective. Some that people rave about I can't stand and vice versa. GV has been around a while and has a good following. That wouldn't happen if nobody liked it.

If you've recently received the juice then you might want to sit it back for a while and try it again in couple of weeks. Many juices benefit from steeping and can change quite a lot in that time period. If at that point you still feel the same way about it you could pif, someone else may love it.

Ill second the steeping of their flavors.... I got quite a bit from GV recently, some good, some not so much... like their Ry4 for instance.... when I first got it, it was downright nasty.... sat in the closet for a weekish and now it is pretty ok.

LPacker, that is really weird. You should e-mail them. I'm not 100% sure where they're located, but I've ordered from them a lot and both when I was at school in Wisconsin and home in New Jersey, it's only taken 3 or 4 days max to receive my order despite the fact they have no shipping speed options. Send customer service an e-mail, because that's fishy.

The biggest problem with Gourmet Vapor . . .

You are able to purchase my mistakes.

I haven't used Gourmet Vapor in quite some time, so I don't know if it's been fixed, but last I checked, all of the flavors, proven or not, were all part of the list to order from. If they haven't fixed that, they need to. Just a simple warning that says something like "These are customer creations, please use caution when ordering".

Other than that . . . I've liked/loved about 70% of what I've ordered from there, and loved about 60% of my own creations. I am always considerate of others when I make flavors, and keep them not visible to the public until I'm sure they taste OK. Others don't always do that.

What I have found in my one month of vaping is simply to never come to rapid conclusions about anything. Your body is renewing itself, your tastebud condition can and will change from one day to another, juices, if given time to steep, can change in flavor and character over the weeks.

So basically, vaping juices in the first few months really is like trying to hit a moving target, ...things can and do change.

I bought about 8 juices from Gourmet Vapors recently, and mine are all very strong and vibrant to the point where I have been using them to accentuate other juices favorably (and flavorably ).

As well, I've only been vaping for a month.
There are several other fields of life that I could be qualified enough to actually give an 'expert' opinion on something.
But only a month into vaping, I would never consider myself qualified enough to criticize a vendor or a juice for any reason, I will leave that to the people who have several years doing this and know far more than I do.

The other thing I try to do is stick to facts and accurate descriptions and downplay my opinions.
Facts are things that everybody can relate to in the same manner.
Opinions change from one person to the next. :)

Thanks for all of your replies. I guess whatever floats your boat is what you like. Out of the juices I've tried, I of course love my favorites. What are some of the ingredients besides PG,VG, Nic, and flavoring are venders using? I lean towards natural flavors that taste like what the name says. eg. virginia tobacco tastes like virginia tobacco. I've also found that flavors which contain 5 flavors mixed together confuse my taste bud. I do stand by the fact that Back woods brew is my number one favorite vender. It seems they really care about making a great product, not diluting it to make more profit. But this is my personally experience, which may vary from yours.

For many GV is the best juice co going. I'm SO picky about juice, ughhh:( Got an order from KBV (my favorite supplier) on Friday. One out of 6 of the new flavors I ordered was a winner for me and I'm excited! The rest will go on the classifieds here for someone else to enjoy. Great juice... just not for me. To say taste is subjective is like calling a whale a Guppy. Finding 'go-to' juices is the most difficult part of vaping. Hope you find yours quickly.
