I intended to respond to someone's thread on another forum, but being a newbie I am not permitted yet.

Hopefully someone else can benefit here. From 10/13 - 10/17 Gourmet Vapor has a 50% off discount code. Here it is: facebook50

I just ordered 3 eliquids. Hope they're good, as it's my first time using that site. The price was definitely right!

I created the thread you couldn't reply to. :D

It is an interesting site. I like the business model - it appears that you can essentially mix whatever you want. Create your own flavors, vg/pg mix, etc. Without a discount it appears that you also pay for this service. But definitely fits a niche. They have a large list of "customer created" flavors. Anyhow, it's a cool concept.

I have never seen it before - but i have only been vaping for 2 weeks. Perhaps someone else has tried them before.

It seems to me it is a site to "expand your horizons" and try all kinds of crazy concoctions that you cannot get unless you are a DIYer. It is basically like DIY except you pay them extra to do it for you...

The reason I love the business concept is differentiation. Most seem to be competing on price and service. That generally equates to low margins as they are selling a commodity. They are filling a niche for those that do not mind paying a bit more.

I just found an old thread on here from back in February when people first discovered this company. Here is part of a post from that, but I think the company may have been somewhat new at that time, not sure. Now you just select the PG/VG mix via drop down.

I asked what makes it gourmet, this was his response

Hello Kimberly,

We will be offering a mix of PG and VG as an option real soon. For now I can make that adjustment for you. When you order, just e-mail me and remind me to mix at 10 to 20% VG.

Ok as far as what makes us Gourmet, we start with either USP Grade Propylene Glycol or USP Grade Vegetable Glycerin. We mix all flavors on the day they ship so our product has never sat on a shelf in it's finished form. We import tobacco flavors from Italy, but all other ingredients originate from the USA.

On a final note what really makes us Gourmet is our customers creating custom flavors everyday so in essence you put the Gourmet in Gourmet Vapor. We just provide laboratory quality products mixed in the US and our customers are where the Gourmet comes from. My favorite flavors are all customer creations.

Really nice/professional guy to deal with:thumbs::thumbs:

Here is the link to that thread:

It appears to me that the company is good IF you don't mind paying considerably more.... With the sale that takes that out of the equation - for now.

You won't be disappointed with the juice! The site however could use a little work. Or perhaps it's just not set up for viewing with my browser.

Ask a question, or do a reply - each time someone replys to your topics, and your post count will go up.

Exactly. Now I am a senior member because of posting. Kinda scary. People will now assume I know what the hell I am talking about...

I have spent "almost" enough to be considered a veteran though, $300.00. I think the min. to be a vet is $500... LOL.

That site rocks! Any suggestions on the best flavor?

Well ~ I'm sad to report this, but I received 3 of their flavors, & I was unimpressed. I specifically ordered their suggested 80/20% mix, plus I ordered double flavor.

Here's a specific example: Gourmet's vanilla simply lacks a true vanilla flavor, as opposed to Ecigarette Choice #7, where I had been ordering Ejuice. Choice #7's vanilla is yummy! (BTW ~ Choice #7 is cheaper!)

If you're an east coaster it would be analogous to eating some generic brand of vanilla ice cream compared to eating Bryer's ice cream! Heh heh ~ The difference is though in the ice cream example the better vanilla flavor is the one that actually costs more! Bryer's!! Geeez ~ :p

From Gourmet Vapor I received Vanilla Gorilla, Coconut, & Maiden Coffee. I suppose I might be able to say that the coffee tasted like coffee, yet still the Choice #7 site has a much richer & realistic coffee.

For what it's worth, there's an amateur's review. :2c:
