Maybe someone actually read the Obama health package and went OH CRAP!!! So now they have stalled everything to try and fix the mess?
Barely making ends meet - Affordable health care - just take out a policy you have no money to pay for.
Out of work, no problem, just take out a policy you can't pay for.

Can't take out a policy due to lack of income to Pay premiums, NO PROBLEM. Government will suspend drivers licenses, Garnish Wages, Tap out your Bank account and levy your Home......assuming you can hang on to it long enough.

Who in their right mind thought this was a good Idea?

Not entirely true. If you read the bill, there are specific exemptions from the mandate for people who are under the poverty level or cannot afford it based on income.

Did you read it?

Not that I'm entirely a fan of it all, but no need to spread misinformation.

I think the bubble will be burst for some over the next few months when they start actually getting their policy prices. You can be above the poverty level and still not afford the massive increase some will see. We'll know how great it is about January.
oh...rumblings are that it's going to get BAD even faster

I would link to the deal I read on infowars...but it's infowars and yeah...reading that you have to assume that it already is a "bonjour" moment!!! I really don't like even seeing that name in the title...

I heck here...just before you click say under your breath "bonjour"

policy prices are lower than expected.

the ones I feel bad for are the low income, but above the poverty level in states like Fl that chose NOT to extend medicare (or medicaid?? I get them confused).

Congress is exempted in the same way that EVERYONE with work based health care is exempted.

If you have health care at work, YOU DON'T NEED TO buy ANYTHING ELSE.

until your employer cancels insurance coverage all together

unintended consequences are popping up all over the place...

I wish they would,,,,,,,,

I checked the other day, and Obama care is cheaper than our work based health care coverage,,,,,,for a better policy.

If I actually signed up for my work's insurance, I would have to apply for food stamps with how deep the cut to my take home pay is. This is with 7 years in and 4 promotions, plus management level employment.
