A release was made by the government of Canada concerning the future of tobacco control, if you're a Canadian Vaper it is your duty to read the entire thing and send your opinion and concerns to them via the provided email.

Everyone else please for the love of the vape Gods please send them emails explaining how important candy, dessert and confectionery flavors are to you, personally it was a candy flavor that got me off the cigs when other flavors failed to help, it seems they want to destroy all the flavors I enjoy

They are also planing on labeling vapor products as a tobacco product as well in it's own category, kind of like how cigarettes and snus are in different categories but are both labelled as a tobacco product because they are tobacco which makes sense however we use pharmaceutical grade nicotine in our ejuice there is no actual tobacco in our juice.. This makes no sense whatsoever, by their definition the patch, the gum, the inhaler and any other NRT should be labelled a tobacco product in their own category as well.. We all know that won't happen because of Big Pharma money...

The flavor parinoia is about kids. I'm convinced that kids care about the visual part of smoking or vaping, not flavors and not nicotine. If there were no visible vapor kids would have no interest. Flavors are not the issue with kids.

Don't do it. It would most likely backfire against those trying to get positive change in Canada. Especially for comments originating in the US.

Swaying opinion knows no borders, the way I see it our laws affect the US and theirs ours, I'm about 10 emails deep with the FDA concerning international trade law but considering what's going on with Trump right now I don't know what will happen, I do know this it doesn't matter who emails them someone has to read those emails and if a point is made and it holds some weight and grabs the right persons attention it can incite change and so far emails and sit downs have helped educate, the tone of SOCI has changed its tune a bit over time, they now have a better understanding of the industry, they understand now that vaping is not run by big tobacco and flavors pay a more important role but are still iffy on the subject, we've definitely had some wins though and there is a long list of interviews scheduled with senators as it stands so more emails could help as well.

Anyone interested in watching the SOCI meetings I uploaded them to youtube here, keep in mind plain packaging for cigarettes is thrown in this bill...
