Is this a good modern mechmod? Just won it in a contest and was planning on selling unless it's really a collectable or special in it's functions.

I like the dual spring loaded pins.

Yeah, I would definitely use it for a bit before I decided to sell. You should be able to get the other sized tubes if another battery is your style. Full disclosure, I have one but use the 18650 tube.

The GP Paps v3 is one of my favorite mods (although I prefer the aluminum bronze tubes to the SS). As you've noticed, the GPin is great for eliminating battery rattle and for fitting atomizers without making any adjustments. The button only takes a light touch to fire and the switch has a great locking ring that locks and unlocks with less than a turn. I wouldn't consider it a collectible (although I personally do collect Paps) but I do consider it special. IMHO it's one of the best mods around - it's what I use every day.

Love to do that, but want to sell unopened. Lol, only have a 3 Ohm carto tank to put on it. No batts, atties or charger.

IMHO, Vapourart produces some of the finest mechanical mods in the industry. Their machining just gets better and better and rivals almost all other mechanical mods. They are well known for excellent threads and fine tolerances. Most of their stuff is backwards compatible (particularly with the Paps line) yet they continue to innovate. Their polishers and brushers are top notch and they truly create works of art. Their pricing on DHL shipping is very competitive with other overseas vendors and unless there is a problem with DHL (which is rare) their parcels are delivered incredibly fast.

I hope after using your new Paps for a while that you decide to keep and enjoy it. Of course, you are more than welcome to do whatever you want with it (sell it, etc.) without any judgement from me.

My first mechanical mod was a GP Paps v2.1 that I bought primarily for the Vapocalypse. I figured that it would be good to have if my other devices broke and I was unable to repair them or get replacements. I had no idea that mechanicals and the Paps specifically would become my mods of choice. Again, congratulations on your score!
