Gp paps button fit the lock rings of gus tele?

I was wondering if the gp paps button would fit the lock rings of a gus tele. Are they the same size? That's the part i need to replace...
Basically, will the gp paps button fit a gus switch? or do i have to buy a whole new switch because i know the gp paps switch fits the gus threads.
