Well 1st I suppose I should introduce myself, I'm a 60+male, ex-smoker 25/day since age 9 (6 days and counting) and have really taken the plunge into using 2nd generation e-cigs (1st gen did nothing for me like all the Health gadgets they try you on), and have been spending quite a few pennies on new shiny things :), so to the crunch of the post...

Seeing as I am a new Member being restricted to posting here, I'll have to refer to the post I saw on here re the China import clone:
it's in apv-discussion and the title is gp-paps-18650-clone-wannabe-desire-ecig "edit: wouldn't let me post the link"

I bought the same model here in the UK for £35 (about $56) which included the 18350 tube as well as the 18650 tube in brushed SS, the thing I noticed was that they put serial numbers on the tubes, but they don't match :(

Apart from that it is a beautiful piece of work and and no problem with the locking ring like reported in the above link, it is reverse threaded which is better than the sigelei which I have accidentally unscrewed the button when trying to lock it.
Seeing as I have not really got into RBAs yet, I have put the new Aspire nautilus on top and it fits very well with it, the diameter being the same.

Oh Definitely, it has a nice feel to it, and of course it's SS not ally, so you can definitely feel it in your hand.

I just have to get the hang of making coils, my first couple of attempts were a total failure, the third works, but the flavour is not good, I've been watching loads of videos, and hopefully my next attempt might be a bit better, I have seen elsewhere that the AGA-T2 is not really a good atty to start with, so have an RSST on order which I'm told is better for beginners :?:

Welcome aboard!

Have not tried the RSST myself, but like you I've seen lots of mentions of it being easier to start with than the Aga T2. Another fine contender for a first gennie would be the Kraken clone they got on Fasttech. I see it's sold out right now, but I'm sure it's obtainable from other sources as well. Do note, however, that the other Kraken clone they have is not really a properly cloned clone. Not supposed to be all that good.

If you already have an Aga to play around with, I recommend reading eHumans guide to setting it up. He explains what can go wrong; opposed to most videos that just show some guy doing it right.
