gp paps or gus debate

Love them both. My favorites.
Can't go wrong with either.
Don't have a gus atty but love my lord.
GP mods are incredible and I love my spheroid. Heron is very nice too.

I know that's my problem I can only buy one. I have never put a telescopic in my hand before so Idk if I would like the Lord I was looking at their 18650 tubes and I like those but ibneed some opinions. If you had to part with one which one would it be

There are a couple things that has me favoring the Paps, tho. Gus is really made with 18490s or bigger in mind. This makes them longer and calls for using a positive pin extension in 18350 mode.
The Paps has a recessed button. Gus, protruding button. Thus, the Paps has a bigger base to stand on when upright. Makes it steadier.
If these things matter to you is all personal preference. Still, both great manufacturers in my opinion.

I have an older version of the Gus Kiss and Paps X and v3. I'm not fond of the fuse in the positive pin for Gus but I heard that it's possible to take a positive pin from another mod to use instead. Both Gus and Paps have a smooth button but I like the Paps more.
since the gus is ugly as sin to my eyes, i'd have to go with the paps. gpin is amazing and the switch is amazing and smooth. the locking mechanism is also smooth as hell.
I think you'll find a lot of love for GP Paps here, I suspect more people have their products than have GUS products, I don't think you can go wrong with either of them, it will come down to aesthetics and which form factor you prefer, I have both the GUS Lord and the GUS Kiss QE and I love them, I don't have a GP Paps yet but it's one I hope to get at some point.

there's a lot to debate if you can only have 1 (for budget/whatever reasons). they are very different mods aesthetically and functionally.
