GP Spheroid/Piccolo issues

Hey guys, I have been using my spheroid piccolo combo for a while but there has been one thing about it that is really bugging me... If I want to ehspheroid to sit flush, I cant screw the bottom switch on all the way.. if I want to get the cap on all the way, there is a fairly large gap between the spheroid and the piccolo.

oh wait, you know what it could be? are the efest 14500's longer than AW's? That could definitely be the problem... I dont have any AW 14500s, so if that is the problem I will get some.

Anyone know?

Did you try to adjust the piccolo's top contact? Or maybe reducing the length of the spring. I haven't had this issue with mine. Also maybe a little bit of noalox could help on the threads. And if nothing of this helps, if you have pics of your setup that could help us to help
