Oh, how I wish I could go back to the New Members forum for my questions. :)

Like most newbies, I started off with the EVOD. Then I got a KGO Mega and a couple Mini Protank IIs. I like the KGO Mega, but (a) I can't find it in any colors besides black or stainless and (b) I can't seem to find it in any of our registered suppliers; I got mine at my local B&M. I really like the Mini Protank IIs because I can change out the stainless tip for different styles/colors.

I want to move up - a little bit - but I don't know where to go.

I'm not looking for clouds, but I've noticed some juices taste better with a fully charged battery. So, variable voltage? But in a similar size to the KGO Mega - a little taller is OK, but I don't want any "fat boys."

Is there a tank like the Mini Protank II, but larger? I don't care for the style off the III at all.

And I haven't really thought too much about dripping, but it is a great way to try out flavors and I'm starting to collect some. Too much of a PIA to half-fill a tank only to empty/clean it if I don't care for the flavor.

Is there something out there that would suit my needs? Oh, and one other thing. Is there ANYthing that doesn't require five presses of the button to turn it on??? PIA, and seems like it's going to wear the button out too fast.

OK - I'm done. Bigger battery, bigger tank in a similar style to the Mini Protank II, can be a dripper, and doesn't require five presses to turn it on. :D Yup, don't want much, right? But there it is.

Thanks for your help! I'm sure there will be no shortage of of opinions and advice.

And even though I always recommend the miniprotanks, I don't actually use them because the base from them fits on the protank! So for a bigger tank you can use a protank but put the base from the miniprotank on it to use the eGo thread instead of the 510 thread; there will be a gab above the atomizer head and you fill that space by adding a second silicone cap inverted on the chimney of the atomizer head.

An MVP2 would be a good next battery. Variable voltage and wattage, amazing battery life, and still simple to use. The box shape puts some people off (I was one of them), but it's small and comfortable to use. And it's only 3 presses on/off instead of 5, which feels better to me.

The tanks I can't speak to much, I use mini PT3's most of the time (until the new Aerotanks come out).

For dripping, either a cheap bridgeless atty (Smok Tech are good, $6 or so), or a cheap rebuildable like an Igo-L if you want to mess with building coils.

Ok for battery since you want colors other than Black and Stainless, have a look at the 1300mah Vision Spinners:
Vision Spinner VV eGo Battery 1300mAh

You want a tank similar to a PTII but larger, so how about a Smoktech ARO, it is the same diameter as a PTII but is taller so it holds 2ml more than the PTII (3.5ml vs 1.5ml). It also has changeable heads. The drip tip is fixed BUT they come in several colors as well.
Smoktech ARO Pyrex Glass eGo BCC

As for a an easy beginner Dripper, it's tough to beat the Igo-L. It is a basic, rebuildable dripper but is still quite good. Many people will suggest the Igo-W but those are designed more for dual coils which are better for more experienced users with mech mods.
IGO-L Rebuildable Atomizer

If you get the Igo-L it does NOT come with a drip tip, so you will need to get one:
Drip Tips E Cigarette

Anyway based on your requirements, these are my suggestions.

WOW! I really like the look of the itaste. Not sure I'm ready for that though - it looks kind of advanced for me. I didn't realize the KGO came in so many colors. And KGO vv looks really interesting. I may stick with the KGO and add an airflow adjuster? I'm a little leary of always loosening my Mini Protank II; I'm afraid it's going to fall off one of these days. lol

the miniprotanks use an eGo connector with 2 or more small holes for air; if you find yourself loosening the tank for air, you should drill out one of those holes; mine are drilled out more than 1/16 inch; but usually most of the airflow restriction I have found to be from over wicking;

the aerotank airflow control bottom piece I don't think can work on the miniprotank; unless you do some other modification; It will probably screw on but there probably wont be any room for the atomizer coil.

the itaste vv v3 is a VW passthrough battery; it offers power regulation, not only voltage regulation; this means you can just change out your atomizer coils without having to worry about whether they are the same exact resistance or not.

Based off of your preferences I figured you'd like to stay with what you're familiar with.
The VV KGO I believe has the dial at the bottom for adjusting VV up or down according to taste.

Hmmm... I've seen people talk about drilling out holes, but I didn't realize what they were referring to. That might work!

Maybe I'll splurge and get the itaste too - if I don't like it ( ! ) I'm sure I won't have any trouble finding someone who will.

Ack! lol Too many good choices!

Yes, it does. That's why I was thinking it would be familiar, yet accomplish what I need.

Hey! I was born and raised in S. Jersey! The rest of my family were born and raised in Philly. (I came along much later in their lives.)
