Just a couple of notes:
first. Polycarbonite that has been fabricated generally doesn't like amonia, vinigar, bleach, or commercial cleaners.

Second. I think it was Alkali (sodium bicarb) in the soda and the acid (acetic acid) in the vinigar that may have been the problem.

that being said. Vodka or grain alcohol are the best things to clean them with, and if you get bored you can have a shot while you're doing it. I would suggest that the shot be from the bottle not used for cleaning and at the end of cleaning them not when you start.

I am so tempted to get a bucket, a can of coke and dump some vinegar in it now. Along with my jar of decrepit pennies... Just to see what happens.

Did it. it was awesome needless to say I gave up soda and vinegar now.... I like to keep my stomach lining intact for the time being

What do you mean with this statement?

Also i still want to know why some of you use vinegar to clean your devices?? It makes no sense to me what so ever :?:

If people are using random concoctions to clean things. Next will be bleach or machine oil or some other crazy thought.

Op is not the first and wont be the last. ....s scary.

great thought but one small problem is the Kanger ProTank Mini and the Kanger ProTank Mini 2 are made from metal and pyrex . and the op clearly stated its the threads on the part that say protank that disintegrated and that is all metal. and if that is the case next time you have a salad and a cola watch out! lol
