Since they take a sharp draw, I would imagine the length is good for keeping juice out of your mouth.

The mustached one is wise. :thumb:

The produced great vapor and flavor even when flooded, but will spit some juice at ya too.

The term "learning curve" gets thrown out a lot in relation to PV gear and it definitely applies to these attys. But, when you figure them out on a bottom feeder, it doesn't get much better. I've found if I blind squonk, I've flooded it. The mesh soaks up a lot of juice before you feel the resistance you're used to with 510's & 306's. I usually squonk till I see a bit of juice start to appear at the top of the atty connector, then let go and give it a quick unpowered inhale. Then I get several great vapes before needing to squonk it again. I strive to NOT squonk when the coil is hot because I want these attys to last for obvious reasons. So far, so good.

Of course, we all have our own individual preferences, so they aren't for everyone. I won't promise you that you'll love them, but I will let folks know that I love them.

Wow, this is the best setup I've found yet. The atty allows me to take short, strong draws and get tremendous vapor and flavor. I mean I could really trick myself in to believing I am smoking an analog, which is really what I have been looking for, something that hits like a cig.

A red dirt REOnaut!!

That is my exact setup since yesterday. I got the blue hh357 just to be different and so I could spot it in my pile. Mine was spitting yesterday but seems much better today. The flavor is extraordinary--I can't wait to resample all my juices.

I will also recommend the XL barrel since I wish I had one now. People on the other thread says the spitting stops after break in. I was going to move this baby over to my mini to see what it can do with it, but I need to vape off all the strawberry in the bottle first to not contaminate my precious new HH357.

I hope these things last. The coil looks really substantial, especially compared to the wimpy 1.5 Vapage Hybrid 3 wrap thin wired coil.

Aha! So the best squonk method for getting used to the atty is like the 510, using the visual cue. Makes sense, since it is in a 510 "body" Thanks Tripp!! :)

My first HH357 -- the stainless steel 510 hh357 - is going on 7 weeks this week. It has been the vapor bomb from day 1!

I am hoping it reaches the 12-week mark! If it does, the cost will average out to the cost of one regular atty per month

My second HH357, the black matte 510 - had an issue and Hanna told me to send it back to him for repair. I got it back, but for some odd reason it doesn't work on my REO Grand, (it is hard to thread into my REO Grand and I will not force it) but it does work on my REO mini woodvil

I'm thinking I will reorder the stainless again.

So after one full day of use I can easily say this will be my new setup. I finally found a setup that hits like a cig! can't wait for my bro to try this, maybe he'll finally switch. Thanks Delilah for the recommendation! I am not going to say that sqounking the right amount of juice is easy, and I'm certainly not going to say that your experience will be the same as mine, but it is day 1 with this atty and I figured out how to blind squonk it. so i will share how I do it. I simply draw like normal (which is pretty hard) and push precisely half the amount I normally would with a 306. YMMV ;)

I am having the very same threading issues on my grand, kinda like threading a sandy bolt. what I do is just gingerly screw and once it gets almost there I fire it and listen for the hiss. if I don't hear it I give it another little twist and try again. that way it doesn't over tighten and short the mod. I'm pretty sure that it wont hurt anything, but yours may give more resistance, idk.

You guys are killing me here. I bought 40+ acres of beautiful land 5 weeks ago for my next (and hopefully last) house.

So I have no were near the vape bankroll I used to have .... in that 5 weeks I've found 5X as much new stuff I want.

Wahh-wahhh-waahhhhhh :)

I have some of the Kanger bottom coil cartos arriving tomorrow, if they are good I will pick up a few boxes from Avid and throw a couple HH's on too. If the new cartos suck I will probably wait a bit longer. I don't buy Cisco attys anymore and frankly Frank's prices are high on everything he sells. Plus I have to pay an extra 8% NY sales tax :(

Although he has the Kanger bottom coil cartos for 9.50 ... so 10 bucks a box with tax. They seem to be 10 bucks everywhere else too. I hope they are great and I can find a better price somewhere.

I have become more of a carto guy again lately.

Just reporting back that at the 48 hour mark, the spitting completely stopped. If the spitting stops after 48 hours with my second one too, I probably won't bother with the long barrels since they would stick out too far for the next 7-12 weeks I hope this atty lasts.

It is such a consistently perfect vape that I can't bother to use my other two REOs with the Cisco 306 1.5 and the Vapage BF 1.5. So far I am loving this blue atty.

Strangest thing is I don't seem to be using up as much liquid as I do with my other attys--like almost 1/3 less with chain vaping. Does anyone else find this to be true?

Sure is, hard to see in an avatar. Here she is full size for your viewing pleasure.

Farah rocks, I have the first season of Charlie's Angels on DVD :) And I still watch it on TV.
I was 12 when that show came out ... a very impressionable age for a boy when bouncy blonds are involved :)

I had 2 Farrah posters - this one and the red one-piece - hanging in the corner over where my bed was situated. On the ceiling, Lynda Carter in a tied-off denim shirt.

12 was a magical age in the 70's.

Ok, weird... so I decided to pop back on my .357 after I posted here and have been using it all day. Spewing juice, trying to get the darn thing right... Well about 7 o'clock this evening it was like a moment of clarity and BAM, this thing is working like a champ. What the heck?

Darned sneaky attys...that's just that way they are.

There is a break-in period and a learning curve (I'm getting tired of saying that over and over, but it's the most apt phrase I can think of), and then comes the performance.

I totally get how people can get frustrated with these attys, so I've tried to avoid screaming "OMG, you must go buy one now!"

And if they die on you too soon, that blows too. I've been doing my best to baby my HH .357 and I'm still using my 1st production run model long after I would have normally killed any other atty.

this one is getting broke in real well. I find that if I havent vaped on it for a little while (which is rare :D ) I have to give it a quick sqonk cuz the steel wool or whatever is down in there soaks up all the juice. cleaned it with vodka in an ultrasonic cleaner last night and shes tasting gr8 and still not spittin anymore. I LOVE THIS ATTY! will be putting an order in for a couple more soon!
