Thanks Odium, it just makes me upset because I try very hard to make my products as nice as I can. Yes if this guy wasnt such a jerk I would have sent him a brand new one even know he got this used.

I guess they didn't know that you offer one free refinish on every woodie in existence as long as the person asking for the refinish has the orginal receipt *shrugs*....

Can't please them all, Todd.... Keep up the hard work and make as many people happy as you can! Don't let this incident bring you down

Some people just lack social skills lol.... Had he come at your correct, I know you would have done everything within your power to resolve the issue but instead he throws a fit! What did he expect? And in trading with others it's customary to see photos first. If all these problems were present he should have declined the trade and if it showed up damaged or it wasn't what he was expecting after it's previous owner butchered it he should have complained to the person he traded with

This person PauliD came back to me after he purchased it and said he was not happy with the finish so I told him to send it back and I would refinish it. Instead he said he would like to refinish it and I would give him 20.00 back.

My apologies to Max Vapors. It seems we were both ripped off. The guy I traded the unit with traded it as brand new. It seems he received a discount due to the imperfections and wanted to refinish it himself. I did not know anyof this and took the guy I traded with at his word. Ok how funny you posted this here before you even heard the truth.. So this guy actually got this item in a trade from another person that did order a Woodie from me and he did not like the finish. So I asked this person to send it back. He said no he would like to refinish the Woodie himself so I refunded 20.00 and he must have refinished it badly. So you my friend did not buy this new from ME! So I would say you need to go back to the guy you bought it from and get your trade back. If you come on my thread again posting garbage like this I will make sure you are banned from ECF for ever!

I just swapped for the unit referenced above. The finish is abominable. Its full of aligatoring, runs, drips and even hair, dried into the finish.

Are you a woodworker? You should be ashamed of yourself putting crap like this on the market.

I threw the unit out it was so poorly constructed

These type of things happen but you really should have waited for Todd to reply before you took any further actions.... Just saying

Todd is a very easy going and hard working individual that really does try to make everyone happy! I wouldn't support a vendor if I didn't respect him for his ethics as well as his products! His moral compass is just right and his products are top notch

He also gives away quite a bit of products on a regular basis so I know that he's not in it for the money (and most the time the contest are done quick so it's not like he attempts to drum up tons of business with the give aways).... In fact he doesn't even make a great deal of money on many of the products he offers!

All I knew is I traded a GGTB for a new Woodie, the thing came in looking like it was painted by a drunken monkey, I ask the trader what happened and he blamed Todd. It turns out Todd cut the guy a break because he said he would refinish it. He never did or if he did, he applied the poly with his hairy ..., it looked like crap and then he blamed Todd. I accept responsibility for flipping out on Todd, yet Todd was kind enough to follow me as a cc on more than a dozen emails with this lying creep until Todd dug up the emails that proved this guy to be a thief and a lier

A GGTB for something your threw away? That does sound pretty bad. But if you want a fantastic wood mod you should get one of the V2 woodies! They are spectacular
