Hey folks,

Just got the Trident V2 in. I haven't seen many reviews on this atomizer yet, so I figured I would throw in my thoughts and opinions.

Here is the package Trident came in. Besides the Trident being inside, it also came with a sticker badge thingy ma bobber.

Here is the actual atomizer itself.

It comes with a solid copper 510 connection. Which was a big selling point for me at least.

Here is the deck of the Trident. I am not sure how I feel about these little flat head screws. I have big fat fingers that didn't really enjoy having to screw these things on and off. But it is what it is.

Here is my first working build with the Trident V2. I just bought some 3mm Ekowool, but I just cant get it to wick. coils were getting hot spots and sure made for one unpleasant vape. So I went back to my standard organic cotton yard wick!
I wrapped 28 gauge kanthal around a 1/8th inch drill bit. Then fed through the coils 4 strands of cotton wick.

And here is how she looks all put together on my Brass Atom with a shiny new Brass drip tip!

My final thoughts on the Trident V2. I like it, I like it a lot. I don't really care for the deck screws but thats just cause I have fat fingers. Also the adjustable airflow I really wish they had more dual air hole options. I might be drilling out the holes a bit larger, but I am going to see how she runs for awhile first. I am sure I will be trying a microcoil setup with this thing very soon! I Just wanted to get her up and running in a hurry. I am impatient and wanted to try it now!

Thanks for reading!

Nice! :toast:

I've got one too. I also like it a lot. Haven't got it that long either.
Have it set up with dual microcoils @ 1 ohm... vapes like a champ and tastes great.
I like the fixing mechanism for the airflow-control... also that you can pull off/put on the
top-cap without much effort, without however making it unstable... Just the
right amount of resistance. I also like the higher poles.
Plus, what also was great about the trident v1. The slots on the posts and the adjustable
copper firing pin. The machining is really good on mine as well.

Okay I have rebuilt coils four times on this thing tonight just playing around, and I can honestly say, I hate the post screws. I have to hold down the coil legs, put the screw on top as centered as I can, and without moving start use my jeweler's screwdriver. That is the only downside to the Trident V2 that I can think of. The Trident V2 makes up for it though as it hits like a freight train.

Just got my V2... and noticed it only had one size for the dual coil airflow?

I thought I saw somewhere that there were additional sizes in V2 for dual coil.

Diggin up the dead but was under same impression that there was multiple had mine about a month but was questioning this last nigh as only one size for duals, thought there was more in reviews.

Yeah I just got an authentic V2 and noticed that it does in fact only have one size for duals.....But that can be easily remedied by sliding the outer ring to partially close off the inner holes....

I am loving this atty otherwise....my only complaint is that that the flathead cap screws have VERY shallow grooves cut into them for a screwdriver to fit in...I have already partialy stripped one of them trying to tighten it down....maybe I can use a small hacksaw to deepen them? Anyone else notice the same thing?
