I like mine (the mini that is), but the capacity lets it down as an all day for me personally. great for a footie game or a session in the pub, etc. wouldn't be without either, but my next will be another LP grand.

now I just have to decide which one - I have 5 in my cart on Robs page at the moment (just cant bring myself to decide - I am thinking copper).

why oh why did he have to give us choices !?!!!&!%!%!

Ditto

Trust me as I'm cruising the site I have 4 in cart and that's just the grands I want. Now I'm off to the minis page.

Oh man (click add to cart)

It might be difficult to explain to the wife why the savings account just got smaller though. :p

Save yourself all the anxiety and get both. I got the Grand first, and then the LP 2.1 and my third is a LP 2.1. I wear a size large glove and the fit of both in my hands is fine. With an anywhere between a .4-.6 coil going I can get about 1.5 (3ml) bottles used out of one battery. I consume a lot of juice and my out for the day kit is full bottle and fresh battery when I leave and 3 bottles in a small zip lock and two spare batteries. The weight is nothing to me as the spares ride in the cup holder or glove box most of the time. When needed, an easy pocket carry. I also throw on whatever atty is setup closest to .6. I am starting to play with higher ohm settings .8-1.0 to see if I get any appreciable battery life stretch without a flavor loss. I like the small form factor of the 2.1 and although the dimensions between the two are close the different feel, at least to me is very noticeable. Now, what will number 4 be? Probably another Grand, I like balance also. You may prefer the Grand over a 2.1 as most of the 22mm attys do look a little bulky on the 2.1 to my eye anyway. However, the RM 4, Trident, Cyclone AFC and some of the other just under 22 mm attys look pretty good to my eye on the 2.1. Trust me, you'll love whichever one you select.

To me the size difference is significant, but the vape is the same quality, unless you are chasing clouds then maybe the bigger battery will help. You can get 6ml square bottles for the mini if you want, but they are thinner wall than standard Reo bottles and not long-term proven yet. Most days I get through an 8 hour work day without changing a battery on the mini, I take a couple of spares though and keep them in my lunchbox.

Tazwell, I use a 1.9 ohm coil and would be lucky to get through 4.5ml of juice at the very most with an 18490 battery. With less cloud producing capacity, maybe less cloud gets "wasted" so going higher in ohms may prolong battery life by going through less juice in the same time period. Interesting. Maybe it simply gets down to X amount of power (from the battery) will vaporize X amount of juice, more or less regardless of the ohms of the coil. Who knows.

Interesting point Ian. Not sure myself, but I promise you I am getting close to 4.5ml off one charged AW 490 1100 mah. I normally can fill my 3 ml bottles to the shoulder and not worry about spilling any juice between reloads as long as I take my time. I use a syringe to refill my bottles and load that to 2.8 on the syringe scale so more like 4.2ml per battery That consumption rate is an average between one RM2 at .5 ohm, RM4 at .6 ohm (aka Vape Beast), and a coiled last night 1.0 ohm non-AFC Cyclone that had been at .43-.45 ohm and all single coiled. Air holes are stock on RM2 and Cyclone and I normally run the mid size or largest air hole on the RM4. All these coils are on 26 gauge one is micro set up with a 16 gauge hypo and the others are off some screw driver close to 2mm. I am sure there is some fudge factor in there as I am just advising of gross generalizations, but I doubt that it more than 10% swing either way. My current 490 batteries are all under 2 months old and when I home and in such close proximity to my charger and all the 490's I will sometimes change the battery when I change the bottle. The snakes in my attys will hiss and spit through the whole bottle when I change both at the same time. Further, and I have no idea if this has anything to do with battery life; I run a cotton wick with just very slight resistance in the coil and the ends just kiss the deck surface. I will monitor it a little more closely to have a better idea. Not to much though, as I am not in the market for any pen pocket protectors.
Cheers
