Bristow, Ok.
I thought it would be nice to see some thanks given to the ones that have helped us all learn to do mods. We can show our gripes and complaints so we need to balance that out with thank yous. I believe that it was the Chinese that started the ecigarettes. Maddog has help a lot of us. Nicowolf taught us the nicostick. I am not going to mention them all. Jim Davis taught me how to use a volt meter. There are many more that deserve a thank you from me. I just don't want to leave anyone out. I will add more later.
If anyone has helped you and deserves a thank you This is a good place to do it.
Thank you.

Hi All MODERS, and participants of mod forum. I'd also like to thank those who post their questions. These questions did help me as well. Some of us (me included) are not brave enough to post questions (for whatever reason). To those who were very patient with endless questions and cries for help, THANK YOU.

Special thanks to Nicowolf, who started me of with the basics via very detailed easy to follow tutorial, Maddog for the very informative video, Cisco for the endless ideas on different possibilities to mod, screamer for a great led (within a washer?? of some sort)+kill switch+manual switch flashlight mod, tinear for the first (that I saw) auto feeder idea, moonman for the easy to build autofeeder, warp1900 for the rca connector system. So much more to mention.

BTW, I wish the rca connector system post was stichyed. I'm always hunting for it for reference.

I have said it before in some of my threads, but since you came up with this thread idea Stormy, i like it and i want to also thank many.

First of all the Chinese that originally created this and probably saved my life and many others around the world.
We have consumed Chinese made everything for years now and we all have complained about the quality of those products.

I just want to remind every one here that most likely the monitor that you are using to read this right now was manufactured in China and also the keyboard, mouse and most everything we use today. Regardless of who originally designed it, manufacturing found it's roots over there for so many reasons that don't need to be discussed here.
E-cigarettes are an amazing invention with flaws, just like those found in most any other product in it's beginnings (Ford T, washing machines, light bulbs, etc.)
What we are all trying to do here (I hope), is to make the vaping experience easier, push the limits of the original design to iron out the flaws, and hopefully in the near future , start from scratch with someone's all new design that will bring all us vapers into the future.
Every step we can make here counts towards that future, and we can all be proud to have been part of it even if in a tiny way.
I thank everyone that has in anyway participated and expect all to continue to do so.
I just wish that politics and egos would/could be "switched off" when entering the forum to avoid the unnecessary "noise". (and that includes my own)
But that is obviously asking too much, just like asking for e-cigs to be perfect :D

Thank you Stormy

Very well said Warp. I think we can change things here if we just stop and think that we are all on the same side. Our goal is not smoking. I don't think it matter who makes the biggest baddest mod. Helping each other is very important. Who else is going to help us, the FDA? All we have is each other. We are fighting for our right to be smoke free. It doesn't matter if your contribution is small as long as you are building up and not tearing down.

I expected to see a lot of people saying thank you and maybe even posting pictures of things that they made with help from the ones kind enough to share their ideas. I am actually surprised and disappointed. So many have made contributions to our cause. Everyone of them deserves a little thanks. It is so easy to do and takes so little time but is can mean so much.

It is easier to call someone a bad name that to tell someone that you appreciate them. I want to thank Warp for being man enough to show a little appreciation. If someone helped you just let them know about it. It may even make you feel good.

The Modders rock. If it hadn't been for having tons of research already done for me, and already organized nicely in the Modders Forum, I'd have never bothered to create my thingers. This newbie to modding thanks you.

We learn from each other. Today you learn. Tomorrow you teach.

Thank you, Stormy, for a thread of positives and a reminder of our common goal.

I want to send out special thanks to Trog100, the original modding pioneer. I give him guff a lot for being a crotchety old fart, but we would be nowhere without his original idea and showing us that it can be done.

I personally never would have had the knowledge, the skills, nor the confidence to try had Madog and Bastage not shown me the ropes through their posts and videos. Both spent countless hours on this forum answering questions and offering help.

I also want to thank all the folks who are currently on here modding for keeping it fresh, for adding new twists, and for keeping me inspired to create and modify rather than to degrade and destroy (when I am not constructively occupied, I tend to see the worst in this world and add to it;)).

I would like to thank Rj Reynolds, quentin tarentino, my moms...........oh wait. No I really appreciate all the hard work these modders do in here. Absurd ideas that trigger other ideas. Kina, deadmon, nicowolf, cisco, maddog, sun, ...............everyone with cleaning ideas, cosmetics............there are plenty of others even the dude with the straw mod

necessity is the mother of invention,, but laziness and convenience are the fathers.

My gratitude goes out to every person who has posted and shared any bit of information that has helped or inspired any of us to take these things up, even if it is only a notch. Some of us have some really cool tools that will make these mods easy, some of us have to use what we have around the house. We all have created some pretty cool stuff thanks to the info sharing!

You have done so much for all of us. I wish you could truly know how much good you have really done. I am puffing on a nicostick as we speak. I made it myself with your help. I am an old lady. If I can do it anyone can thanks to your wonderful instructions. Thank you girl.
