We just received our Joye 510 from Heaven Gifts today. WOW, more than I expected. My finance and I first discovered e-cigs at the mall. Almost got hooked into the "smoking everywhere guy". I had this feeling to do some research. He wanted to buy now. I am so glad I found this place. I just knew I could find it way cheaper than $175 for the kit. Well I did, same kit for $36 bucks, sweet! Only thing, I should order more atty and juice right away. However, wanted to try it first before committing to anything.

I order him the pre-filled carts and well for me pick up 4 bottles of flavored juice. Now, how many drops do I put into the cart? I have been reading that the drops depend on the user. But in average.

So analog free for half the day, normally a half a pack a day. Now for the true test. Work. I have a high stress job and I smoke for the benifet of my residents/patients. I am a nursing assianst. I need all the luck in the world now.

thank you so much for all the great advice here.

Congrats on your decision to try e-cigs! You absolutely will not regret it. I smoked almost 2 packs/day for over 38 years. I have not had an analog ciggie since the 3rd day of vaping. And I've had NO desire for one -- no withdrawal, nothing. It's great!!

Big congrats on not getting sucked in by the mall guy. My niece almost bought one of those -- yea, it was around $175 at the mall. I happened to call her to tell her I had finally been able to quit smoking, so now she's lurking here getting some info that all the fine folks here provide for us.

Welcome to the forum, and happy vaping!! ;)

Edited to add: almost forgot, number of drops really does vary, depending on how dry the cartridge is. I usually add 1-2 drops directly onto the atomizer myself. But if the filler material is dry, add drops until it's soaked and totally absorbed, but you don't want any liquid floating on top -- getting the juice is your mouth is not very pleasant.

What I do Daisy is drip about 5 or 6 drops into a fresh cart..then with tweezers or a pin pull the filling up a bit and push it back in..drip 3 to 4 more drops on top. You want it wet looking but not pooled up! If it pools, lift the filler a tiny bit and it will sink down.
Once it's ready to top off after several drags, drop about 3 drops on top..don't pool!
Too much liquid and you get some in the mouth (not fatal..just a bit yucky, the higher the nic, the yuckier it tastes) Too little you will burn out the atty.
As your atty's are new, 2 drops right into the atty on the coil is a good thing. The coil needs to stay wet..not dripping..just damp to wet.
Welcome to ECF!:)
