I've been trying to look into them further - they seem to have released their first flavors about a month ago.

I was just saying the other day over on the Wonder Flavours thread that I'm hard pressed to be buying anymore flavors, but.... um.... I have no excuse

I'm thinking of trying the usual suspects:

Strawberry Fresh
Strawberry Shisha (cheeky buggers - having a flavor named like that!)
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Biscuit
Sugar Cookie
Sweet Mango
Cookie Dough

I may order samples in the next couple of days. It'll be at least a week to 10 days before I get them in from BC.

But, only because I knew DIY-ejuice would have a sale this weekend.

So yeah, this weekend. There's a whack of flavors in my cart so I'll have to revisit my wish list before I hit the fire button. What are you planning on getting?

So the fire button got hit this evening. My Great Lakes order is:

All these plus some others I've been wanting to try for a while (some Flavorah, Cap's and a few TFA).

I agree, the picture on the DIY Flavors site looks like a vanilla custard for V1 and V2 looks like a vanilla pudding, quite a bit lighter in color.

Well, after messing around with these for a couple of months I can say I feel they are good but don't bring much of anything new to the existing party. Wonder Flavours is doing new and different things, Great Lakes is doing what TPA, Cap and Inawera are already doing. That being said, I did manage to make up a pretty awesome cookie from the flavors I purchased, only adding some INW Vanilla Shisha and some TPA Sweetener as additions.

GLF Bavarian Cream 1%
GLF Biscuit 1%
GLF Cookie Dough 2%
GLF Sugar Cookie 2%
GLF Sweet Cream 1%
GLF Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 3%
TPA Sweetener 0.50%
INW Vanilla Shisha 0.50%

11% total flavoring and surprisingly good for a plain vanilla cookie.

I still have the Sweet Mango by Great Lakes that I have not tried yet.

The Strawberry Shisha is very much like Inawera's Strawberry Shisha but not as strong. I feel the Inawera is just a bit better overall but they are quite similar. I've always used Inawera SS at 2% to 2.25%. The Great Lakes SS needs about 4% to 4.5% to get a similar level of flavor.

The Strawberry Fresh is okay. Not a bad strawberry flavor but not as good as Strawberry Ripe by TFA/TPA.

I've been using the two strawberry flavors together, varying the strengths and trying different things out. Not bad flavors but nothing new either.
