I picked up a used GLV-1 from a member here at the ECF. After about a month, and an international work trip, the atomizer connection was stripped. I got it right as the GLV2 was starting to ship...so naturally, I wanted it.
First, I PM'ed Jay on a Saturday night...late on a Saturday night, and he got right back to me. We both agreed it would be easiest to call him. I called Jay, and we worked out an upgrade. It was painless and easy. He clearly knew exactly what type of GLV1 I had after about 3 questions. I received my shiny new GLV-2 on Friday. All said and done, it took less than 2 weeks...and that's counting USPS taking their sweet time getting it to me (and probably getting my old one to him).
It came wrapped nicely in bubble wrap in a box.
Jay was very kind to get it to me in time for an international work trip. Unfortunately, Delta has it in my bag somewhere over Europe right now...and I'm in the Philippines! But that is in NO way his fault!
Overall, if you're on the fence about doing business with Jay, don't be. The build quality is AMAZING. I also noticed the GLV2 felt quite a bit lighter than the GLV1, but it's still just as rock solid and classy looking as the original!
