2-3 months ago, a TV show had a pneumonologist as a guest where he said that electronic cigarrete is more harmful than analogs.

I am wondering how much money he got paid to say all the nonsenses he said. The nice thing is that he was the less apposite person to talk about this because he was not a real scientist, just a doctor. But the best thing was that he didnt give any documents to proove "his" "theory" (it was not "his" and it was not a "theory" to my opinion)

The bad thing is that every person I met the last 3 months tells me to stop vaping because its dangerous. I really believe that these people that say nonsenses about electronic cigarettes have to go to prison for fighting people's health

I dont believe almost anything on TV, anything that politicians say of cours and definately anything without a real proof. But most of people are not like this as you know. I am sure that other nations are not an exception. (UNFORTUNATELY)

We have a stupid commercial here where this girl is telling a guy that they can't say anything on the internet that isn't true. The guy asked her where she heard that. She said...the internet.
Way too many people are quick to believe the things they hear without verifying the facts themselves. There is more bull.... floating around now more than ever and it takes time to sift through it to discover what's true and what's not. It's getting more and more difficult to know the truth these days.

There is not one of those doctors who say that vaping is worse than smoking, that they have no interest in smoking cessation centers or take money from such centers.

Indeed, in a case in Greece, proved that they have relatives who run such centers.

Its because the news on TV are told by people that seems serious, with ties etc. People that are watching cant understand that outside the studio these people are ....ing silly that try to fool you every single day and they laugh you in your back. Of course these people on TV are not clever enough to understand that fooling us its like fooling themselfs.

i guess 90% of the doctors out there are just ignorant about the e-cig world and its benefits and of course its risk which are very slim compared to analogs, let me share my experience in vaping advices i have received from doctors just in the pass 3 months here in mexico.

1- a plastic surgeon told my dad that e-cigs produce cancer at an alarming faster rate than analogs and that i should stop now if i didnt want to die in the next 5 years or so, of course i talked to her and she was completely clueless about what the e-cigs actually do or contain.

2- a pnemologist toldme that their ok in the firts 3 months but after that they become dangerous, i asked him why, being one of the best on his field in the city he said he wasent sure.

3-other 3 doctors or probably more have said to me or my dad their dangerous without knowing absolutely nothing about it or that they haven't heard of them.

it just seems to me some doctors just say whatever whit out doing some reading on it, this really bugs me, they should not give medical advice to someone on something they knowing nothing about the subject.

my dad its actually convinced they do more harm than analogs now and hes at war whit me to make me stop vaping, he even offer me once to buy me some cigarettes and stop vaping, i told him that was the dumbest thing i ever heard.

Hopefully there will be some real data available in the next coming years from actual independent research that would put a rest to all these crazy stories. Maybe it's bad, maybe it's not, only time will tell. But one thing is for sure, I feel alot better then I did when I was still smoking. So I will listen to my own body, instead of all these wild accusations.

Is VG/PG really bad for you or not? One can say, Well, vaping must be better, because it contains only a few chemicals if compared with regular analogs. Maybe vaping is only better for our lungs , and bad for some other organ. blah blah blah blah.
Only time will tell.

History has shown us many times that even research is not always correct.

How about 2% milk. All those years people where made to believe that we should not drink full/whole milk.
Now they came back on that and say that margarine and 2% milk are bad.
Real butter and whole milk are better. Can you still follow what is wrong or not??
I do, real butter and whole milk always tasted better to me, and I refused consuming the so called "better" stuff.

Use common sence and use what makes you feel better, not what others say.

I morn the death of common sense. Paying attention to our own personal experience and making our own personal decisions, paramount in our own individual lives. The governments and the anti's want everyone dependent upon them, so it is in their own interests to crush individual common sense and self reliance.

Personally I haven't watched TV news or read a newpaper in over twenty years. Too much spin and agenda based reporting. Not enough, 'Facts, man, just the facts'.

Statistics never lie.... only statisticans.

I know from my own experience that I am healthier from having switched from smoking to vaping. I do not need others to agree with me for it to be true for me. Because it is true for me, does not automatically make it true for anyone else, so I have no need to get them to see the light. Only they can determine for them self what is true for them. I give that to others out of respect for individual differences and I require the same from them for the same reason. If we agree, fine, let's share another vape & a beer. If not, let's agree to disagree and share another beer, soda, tea or whatever.

Vaping will take over analogs.. it's not a case of if but a case of when. For now the profits made by the pharmaceutical companies and the cancer research bull.... charities and the draconian tobacco industries and all the other criminal organizations that profit from having a legal way of killing people will be simply using TV and other means to slow down the process of this revolutionized, creative method of enjoying a self designed alternative to their crappy uncreative cancer sticks.
