I have smoked since I was 15... now 26 years as I turned the odometer over to 41 in April
Started Camel Lights, then UltraLights and over the last decade mostly Marlboro UltraLights. The last year Marlboro Gold (Lights) because I could get them cheaper than Silver (UltraLights). Pretty much a pack day average... sometimes more if I'm partying
sometimes less if I'm hungover
I read a lot about how vaping is different than smoking and you need to adjust... etc... BUT, apparently I have not been smoking my analogs properly all this time
Upon closely observing my smoking technique, it seems it is pretty close to what the vaping technique is. I take a small drag on my smoke via a short mouth suck (sorry, best terminology I could come up with), and then a very shallow inhale from there...
My Green Smoke kit arrived Saturday morning... here is where things go off the rails crazy for me. Just one extremely small drag and it is like I smoked 10 cigs right in row... hardcore with deep inhaling and no breaks in between. Apparently all these years I haven't been inhaling deep enough to even get a nicotine high, because just one Green Smoke hit and I have a nicotine high like I have never experienced before in my life... well maybe like a Djarum clove, but I haven't smoked one of those since High School... but I vaguely remember getting one hell of a buzz off of those bad boys
I have both Light/1.2% and Ultra/0.6% Flavormax cartos, and quite honestly I get just as high off of either strength??? I am so confused??? I thought I would have to vape more than I used to smoke??? Everything I read talked about how less effective vaping was at delivering nicotine vs cig smoke etc... for me it appears to be the complete opposite8-o
I have never quit smoking because I enjoy it, with how advanced the ecig technology is nowadays... I figured it would be the perfect time for me to make the switch. I am way more addicted to the ritual and act of smoking than I am to nicotine (very obvious to me now), am I going to have to go Zero nicotine right off the bat???
Anyone else have a similar experience?
Any insight?
I also have a Halo Triton due to arrive tomorrow with 2 Halo sample tins (but they are all 1.2%), I am hoping maybe its the overall ingredients in the Flavormax that are getting me so damn high and I will be able to vape on the Halo juice more frequently... fingers crossed...
If I could vape even half as much as I used to smoke, I would be in heaven... but one hit will last me for 1-3 hours... 2-4 hits will last me 2-5 hours or more!!! Any more hits and I start to get real dizzy and nauseous...
Dazed and confused in Minneapolis... or more accurately "Vaped and confused..."
