Nicotine from cigarette smoke is absorbed in the lungs. However, nicotine from vaping is absorbed through the mucous membranes in your nose and mouth.

Well, you learn something new everyday. =] Mighty kind of you to point that out, dude. Just wondering, does that mean that vaping is a more effective way of nic absorption or is it the other way around? Pardon the noob question.=/

Beyond "where" it's absorbed, you only get 10 to 40% of the nicotine, depending on how you take it in, and your physionomy. There's a wide margin. I use the middle point (25%) to calculate how much nic I'm taking in.

Not that it's terribly relevant though, other than making sure one doesn't get too much nic. Swapping 4'000 chemicals from tobacco, down to one from an e-cig, there's a transition period (at least a week, sometimes up to a month).

That's the challenge.

Well, I stopped smoking almost immediately after I got my ego, and by the third day or so I started to get really irritated by the second hand smoke coming from the smokers around me. Really made me wonder what the heck I was doing for the past 20 years. That coming from someone who averaged at least a PAD and a box of cubans every coupla months. =/ Some days, those death sticks used to be the only reasons I even bothered to get out of bed... *shakes head*

*Me shake my head even more* I am worse than that... I smoked over 26 years and I never liked the smell of smoke or being around it at all the whole time I was smoking...

They were the same crutch for me... couldn't have made it through the day with out them...

NOW, since my Halo Triton and Tribeca arrived on Monday... I have a brand new shiny electric crutch and I love the way it smells!!!

Sorry to hear the Triton isn't working out for you.

I sometimes twirl mine, or flip it over, but I never get a dry hit, until I get to the last 0.4 mL; I usually refill at that point.

Some people prefer a bottom coil, but some report leaks from those; my Triton has never leaked (I use 6). BCC s will give you a cooler vapor, and some are ok with that (especially menthol smokers).

Let us know how it works out?

Now the only thing we only to worry about is if it's wise that we're swopping from a left-handed crutch to a right-handed crutch . LOL. Thing is though, I used to love the smell of cigarettes. Maybe because of my Dad, but waking up to the smell of cigarettes and coffee in the morning always used to give me a sense of comfort when I was a kid, and it followed me through into adulthood most of my life, til I picked up vaping, I guess? If there were to be only one reason for me to go back to smoking analogs, that would be it.:(

I don't know why they aren't stickies on the New Members Forum??? Maybe they are stickies in a more obvious location that I am not clever enough to figure out :2cool:

I'm pretty new in this forum but isn't there someone we can ask to like, sticky these? Or maybe it's already up but we just can't find it. =/
