I haven't been here that long, but I haven't seen anyone who said they bought one, so I'm not sure there's information here for you. I saw it, but traced back a few of the "independent review" sites and found they were registered to the same company as the Green Smoke, and that kind of turned me off. It struck me as deceptive. I wound up buying a 510 PCC kit, then a Joye eGo kit, and I'm waiting for my GLV-2 Mini, probably sometime around the end of the month.

FWIW, the pre-filled cartridges from any company are usually much, much more expensive than the ones you buy empty and fill with juice yourself.

From what I remember, the Green Smoke is an expensive KR808-d. Vapor 4 life sells the same model. It's a 2 piece design that uses cartomizers instead of the usual 3 piece. I started out with an 808 and it was a good springboard for me, but I found I was looking for a lot more vapor production in the end. Also, double check that it is a 808. If it is, the first thing I would do is order some blank Cool Carts from Vapor 4 life and a couple bottles of juice (not from vapor 4 life). I imagine the prefilled cartos you get with the Green Smoke will not be great and probably cost a fortune. There are plenty of awesome juice vendors to use. My favorites so far are Vaperite, Freedomsmokeusa, Backwoods Brew and Tasty Vapor. Anyway, good luck with your new PV, just remember if you confirm that it is an 808 you can get accessories and other incidentals from a lot of other places and for a lot cheaper.

If it's KR8 it's good 2-piece model but check the prices elsewhere if you decide to buy more accessories or spare batteries etc. because some rebranders charger as much as $50 for a battery that should cost under $20. And if you have any trouble refilling Greensmoke cartos (like if they used hard caps or glued them on) then buy your cartos elsewhere so you can refill them.

Another thing you can do with KR808D-1 besides use the cartomizers is put a standard DSE901 atomizer on it (no adapter needed) and use 901 carts with that (easier to fill than a carto but doesn't hold as much juice). So basically, for a small expense of an atty and carts your battery can be the basis of two different PVs. And if you have a manual battery (don't know if Greensmoke offers those) then you could also use a drip tip with the 901 atty if you ever wanted to experiment with that.

I am pretty sure the greensmoke is actually a kr808d-2 model not a d-1. The threads are completely different than a kr808d-1 model and much less available. There are a couple of companies that sell e9-d2 cartomizers still cheaper than greencig. ........... has them but with shipping from China. I think vapure has a kr808d-2 to 510 adapter if you still want to use the batteries and buy refillable 510 cartos, or just order a good 510 kit and go from there... but i will say that the kanger kr808d-2 cartos make pretty good vapor so still not a bad option if you get 'em cheaper.

I tried the Green Smoke as my 2nd type of e-cig. They are pretty expensive compared to better kits with much better batteries! While I really liked the cartomizers, the real down side for me was the short battery life and long charging time. Even with 3 batteries, 2 regular and 1 XL, it was a continual cycle of constant charging. I was charging batteries more than I was vaping! The good thing is that the kit comes with a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee! I sent mine back and picked up a KR808D-1 Kit from Rob at Good Prophets for 1/3 of the price and my battery problem was solved, plus the cartomizers were almost half the price of the Green Smokes!

i started with a green smoke - gave it up after a week. It actually performed very well for me. But as mentioned - the battery life is dreadful; you will be endlessly recharging. Their carts also had this metal tie down for the filler which made it impossible to modify. Their flavours were suspect, and overpriced. But, it was enough to get me to invest further into other devices/juices.

In hindsight, i wish i had started with a mod (and still dont know why others don't recommend mods to new users). Greensmoke is selling their starter kit for $139. You could grab a GGTB ($73 i think) + related accessories (charger + batts + carts + juice) for cheaper and then have the luxury of variable voltage, and non-proprietary batteries. But of course...its bigger, and not cigarette like. Conversely, lecig.com sells the same green smoke batteries (D2) for $13.00 a pop (LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store - Batteries). Add a charger, and some carts, and you have the entire greensmoke setup for much cheaper

Regardless, give it a shot. They seem quite good with their refund policy if you don't like it or feel ripped off. It wasn't for me, but there are others who do like it a lot.

I started with Green Smoke. It's not a KR808D-1, it's a E9. E9 hardward is rather hard to locate unless you go directly through Green Smoke or China dealers, which I did. I found E9 batteries for less than 1/2 of what Green Smoke sells them for. Their carto's are rather expensive as well.
I used the E9 for about 2 weeks then switched. Unfortunately when you switch none of the hardware for the E9 works on anything else, including the chargers.
You may like the E9, I didn't care for it. Draw was way too hard, batteries didn't last very long and a limited amount of carto flavors.
I have several E9 batteries, chargers and blank carto's if you'd like to strike a deal LOL.

Don't do it!!! Send it back.... sorry but that's my honest opinion based on having a kit .. my first venture; knowing nothing about vaping ... nada...

I am a chain vaper and right from the start.

This one is expensive and if you vape a lot, it will not do it for you.

It had 2 batts.. one lasts about an hour and the other about 2 hours... they take about 3 to 5 hours to charge..

the vape is pretty good... expensive, but can be refilled.

But man... or woman.... the eGo or eGo type ecigs are THE tried and true standard for so so so much less $$$ ...and you can vape carts, cartos, and drip...

there is so much out here in vape world... to experience state of the art vaping.. save your money and your time.

Really? I mean the person who brought their green smoke into me was really satisfied with it.

I agree 100%. If you really feel like you need something that is very close to the size of a regular cigarette, there are better options for less money. A regular KR808d-1 is a very popular choice, and readily available for a lot less than a greensmoke starter kit. Revolver has a super-mini (exact size of a real cig) called the Elite that has battery life that is at least as good, but has a MUCH better charger pack.

There are several mini ecigs (bigger than a real cig, but still the aproximate size and shape) based on the 510 from countless vendors. Vocano's "Magma" and Revolver's "Gemini" or "Gemini 2" both come to mind, and of course you can get the original Joye 510 just about anywhere for a fraction of the cost of that greensmoke.

And from there you can go to something cigar sized like an ego (510 with a big battery), one of the countless ego-clones, pig-cig (kr808d-1 with a bit battery) or the relatively new Boge Leo, which is my favorite PV at the moment.

Best of all, you could EASILY get any two of the options I listed above, plus a couple bottles of liquid, for less money than the greensmoke starter kit, and the ALL work better.

I would not, however, suggest you get a 'mod' as a first e-cig. I'd put the absolute spending cap at $50 for any kit until you find exactly what you want. There's just no good reason to spend $70-$300 on a mod that you may not even like, and almost certainly won't want to use where anyone can see you sucking on a flashlight.

I agree, You shouldn't spend more then $50 on any initial kit. I dont know much about mods but everyone should try a regular kit before getting something that i modified. Most 510s are really good also in my opinion,

well i have eGo usb ... for under $40 bucks i believe, can't remember... add an atty or carto (for a coupld bucks), some juice and you are vaping all day long... 24 hrs a day if you want .... not waiting hours and hours and hours for a recharge.

like i said, the vape is pretty good on green smoke... it's just not worth the $130 or so... think about that! $130 can get a top of the line ... just about anything out there.

i have the kit with lots of cartos... sitting on my shelf... you can have it for 25% of what i paid for it... i'd give it away if someone was try to quit analogs and didn't have the money... (what's the point though... vaping costs $)...

I agree with you 100% on the price! Its way to high, i am offended that Amerismoke sells theirs for 99.95!!! Really a smaller battery that lasts less then half of a standard battery for more money? Its a joke.
