Oh I'm so glad I found this forum. I am very new to the whole e-cig thing, and I think this forum has already saved me a ton of time and money.
I saw e-cigarettes on a TV show, one of the free trial things was featured. So I gave it a try. I have been a smoker for years and years but the cost was getting outrageous and the e-cig had so many good things about it; no smell, no ash mess, way fewer chemicals.
It was love at first draw. Thankfully, I checked the companies web site as soon as I got the kit. Lots of benefits but the cost of the cartos, OMG! I called customer service, pressed 1 for english and still could not understand a word the agent was saying! I've called customer service twice to modify my plan, with no results either time. My first call was because I liked the e-cigs but the cartridge in the starter kit was too strong for me. So I called and asked if I could buy just a sample of the medium and low strength cartridges. I was told yes on the phone and that my membership would be put on hold for 2 months to allow me time to decide. Then I received a return confirmation e-mail. I didn't want to return my kit, I just wanted to try the medium and low strength cartridges.
So I called the next day. I asked that my membership be activated again, but that I only needed 5 cartridges per month. I was told that was fine, and that they would ship the next day. They didn't.
I am now out of cartridges, which I am not happy about since I called twice to avoid running out. I called and e-mailed them to cancel my "membership", and got confirmation of cancellation in writing, so all good there.
I also do not want to pay $80 for 10 cartridges. There are many less expensive alternatives out there.
So then I started researching and thankfully landed here. I have since ordered 2 carto starter kits (the cartridge filling unfortunately is just a bit too much for me). The first one should arrive tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes!
