hey everyone :) great to see such a wealth of information here, it's a little overwhelming, which is awesome!

so my story,
started out with the blu cigs about a year ago, and tried to refill them at the time and it didnt work (though with some tinkering i finally figured that out), haven't really had internet or any other information to go off of and was really not impressed (and now that i do i have realized i had to do a lot of reinventing the wheel to do some very basic stuff), though i knew that there had to be something better out there!
luckily for me a new shop opened up close to where i was (the nashville vapor store)
when i was there i was with my girl, (she's not really into vaping) and the guy at the counter seemed really busy and didn't want to answer my questions and nerd out with me for a little bit so i didn't get all the info that i wanted there,

however i picked up the ego kit they have with the clearomizer tanks, and i loved it :) much better than the blu cigs by leaps and bounds! of course now the technology bug has got me and im about to spend my life savings on new vape stufff :D :D also happy to have an alternative to the analogs i can rely on to be charged for more than one vaping session and i've been analog free for quite some time now (i cant remember how long so that's awesome)

anyways the questions:

the kit i got didnt come with any instructions whatsoever, though i figured out how to vape myself woosy in the first 20 min after getting it but now i want to learn a bit more about what i actually have,

i got the ego kit with the clearos, the batteries say smok the clearos are smoke colored, i've manage to break the base of one of them so now it doesnt hold liquid (bummer dude) and i have realized at this point i need to get some more tanks and would like more durable ones (the second tank started to un seat itself but so far it has maintained function) so i was wandering

what is the most durable tank to replace this?

i looked up the kits that he has online and it says they come with redux clearo's with a 1.8 ohm coil, though i was kind of wandering if they are not something different than this (i got mine about a month ago so perhaps he's changed the kits or something) as they aren't that loud (compared to a mini carto he gave me which i assume is more of a low res then these, it really makes a lot of noise)
the reason im wandering is because a good friend of mine gave me a ego-v v2 mega vv battery (which i love woooot!) but it came with a little chart on which voltages are safe and produce the best vapor...

i've also had wicking problems with them leading to a little burnt taste though nothing that didn't go away if i made sure to tip it upside down, anyways...

i'm looking to upgrade to some better tanks, i want something super durable, so it wont mind riding around in my pocket and the occasional fall off my lap to the floor, and something that isnt going to be prone to wicking problems, but still be able to see the liquid in them, im not sure if i like the look or whatever of the carto tanks though, and i like that i can just change the atty head and not have so much filler material.... any ideas ? i also really like the draw on these tanks so i want something that has pretty similar airflow...

i'll try to post up some pics of my setup soon as well.... so anyways, thanks for all the advice everyone! and thanks to the ecf for having this awesome forum! big ups to all the vape nerds!

haha was just reading a post where someone was complaining about the vivi nova tanks >.< haha kinda looking at the kanger protank or evod, they look cool.... im gonna do a bit more research first though :) also a good friend of mine set me on to mst's bakery, too many flavors it's overwhelming!! haha, wish i could afford to get one of everything :)

im thinking what i'm going after is something that doesn't have a top coil.... after doing a bit more research... aha so much to learn!

also, i'd like the major components to screw together, stuff that is supposed to just hold together using friction kind of scares me a little bit to be just chillin' in my pocket!
