Hey,

My name is Gigi, 33 years old from Romania and now while making this first post i am thinking to myself how i did not see this forum until now. I have started vaping about 4 years ago with the help from two Joyetech EGO AIO and a PRO BOX Mode, also from them.

I have vaped for close to two years then after switching to a desk job i have started smoking again, this time rolled cigarettes. Since the lockdown due to COVID 19 i had to search again for an alternative to smoking ( buying stuff from the online shops was the only solution at that time since going outside was not an option ) ,and i embraced vaping again, this time for good.

For my second chance at vaping i have decided that i want more than a AIO so i have started with a Vaporesso Revenger X , got something for stealth vaping outside of home ( Nautilus 2S so i have also a MTL ) and as of recently i also got a Swag 2 kit so i can give my Nautilus a nice pair as secondary device . I am also making my own ejuice with supplies from the online shops in Romania so i am pretty sure i will never go back to smoking again, vaping became more than a way for me to get my nicotine, it is now a complete hobby.

I am looking forward to learn a lot from you nice guys ( and gals ) since i am planning to go the rebuildable route aswell in the near future and also interacting with nice people that have the same love for vaping as me.

Happy holidays to all and i hope 2021 will be a better year for everybody.

Welcome and glad you joined.

This you may want to do first before you do DIY, suggest getting a RDA (may need one for testing) and learn rebuilding. Could read/watch:

Hey and thanks, i saw that there is a lot to read on the subject. I want to know most of the basic stuff before starting doing builds. Even thought i will use a mod that has all kinds of protections , i still want to start on the right foot. My plan is to first buy all the tools for the job ( a kit with all of them or individually) then deciding what RBA to use , one suited for begginers :)

What a grand introductory post! Welcome aboard.
Haha, thank you so much. i try give myself as an example to others around, like the people i know in real life. If somebody very addicted to cigarettes as me ( as i said, 3 packs a day or one pouch of 50g tabacco every 2 days ) manages to stay only on vaping , i believe virtually anybody can do it. But the lesson i learned is you need something more than a AIO even as first device. Maybe if i started with a kit from the beggining ,i wouldnt have switched back to tobacco .

Hello and welcome! Sounds like you doing fine with vape device choices (I also have a Revenger X and love it) Make sure to get an external battery charger! Just because you can charge with the USB cord, it's not really a good idea.

Hey and thank you :) Believe me, the package with the external battery charger came before the one with the Ravanger X :) i knew from the start that i will abuse the device so i prepared from the beginning :D along with that external charger i also bought 6 sony batteries which i charge in a rotation so i have 0 downtime :))) a pair of them gives me about half to three quarters of a day ( ~ 65 watts ) depending on the GT Coil i use.

I choose the best sony batteries, the ones with high discharge rate but will need to change the charger soon, i admit i bought a low quality one that sometimes has a minds of its own and doesnt perform so well.

I use a double battery regulated mod and since I know I won't be vaping more than 100watts ever I decided to use 18650 batteries with 3000mah capacity that way the cells last very long...
I know your mod suggest 25amps batteries or more but that's cause it can hit 220watt but if u know u won't go very high u can use even lower amps...just saying
Best thing to do is get many batteries as u did and never care how slow they charge or wait
And of in case u didn't know u can Google mooch battery tests and see which batteries are good and provide the power they claim...
