To answer Robtest's question I just got the ego twist 1000 mah starter kit. It came with 2 twist batteries, 2 smoktech redux clearomizers, 2 five packs of replaceable heads for the clearo's a charger, empty 10 mil bottle and a nice zipperd case for $85.00 thru Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com and so far I love it but I noticed last night for the first time since using it that I was getting some leakage from the clearomizers. The leakage seemed to be coming from inside the bottom (leacking out of the ceter hole) right were it makes the connection when its screwd down onto the battery. I noticed it was hitting kind of weak all of a sudden so I took it off to put on another clearomizer and noticed a little juice in my ego battery right on top on the little metal connection piece. It a little flat round piece. I took a paper towel to dab the juice off and then it hit good but it kept doing it after a while of continuously vaping. Is this normal? What can cause and/or prevent this? Will that eventually ruin the battery if im firing it and there is juice on that connection piece???

I never used that, but it happened to me with cartos. Overwicking? Clean off the batt,then lightly blow out the clearomizer unto a towel before putting it back on your batt.

Those types of clearomizers will tend to leave a drop on top of the positive pin in my devices too, and I think it's typical. More with thinner liquids, but it doesn't normally affect the vape quality for me. I just remove it and do a quick wipe every time I refill. I'm going to try another variation - the Kanger T2 - as it holds more and has cheaper heads. I'm hoping it's not as common but I can put up with it as the vape quality is so good.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah its a good set up i'm happy with it. Sounds like the slight leaky issue isnt something to worry to much about. I also just recieved my first tank and I'm REALLY diggin that. Its the Boge F-16 tank and I got a nice black thread sleave for my ego battery to make it look nice and purrrty. No leaks at all, vapes great and flavor is awesome!

It's good to see you didn't have to go through a hundred bucks of overpriced crappy kits to get to where you are. Almost everything you have didn't exist a year ago!

Yes I really like the battery life of the 1000 mah and ofcourse the Varible Voltage and how that plays nice with lots of different tanks, cartos, clearo's etc..

Well out here in MI we have what us locals like to call "The Dirt Mall" lol or otherwise known as Gibralter Trade Center. Its a big indoor mall only open on the weekends and once in a while they do themed weekends like gun shows, car and motorcycle shows ect. but inside its just a mix matched group of vendors that sell everything you can think of and its mostly pretty inexpensive and there happenes to be a e-cig vendor in there that sells a few cheapy e-cigs and juice so I tried the juice (straight menthol) and its pretty good. I forget there name its no one big. So theres that then I orderd from Rawr Vapor and got the Poison (which I didnt like) and their Absinthe (which I do like). I also picked up some apple peace and red bull juices from a local tobacco outlet and im very pleased with the vapor and taste. Next time I order juice online I think I want to go with Halo and juicyVapor. Halo's Kringles Curse looks to be right up my ally and I want to try Juicy's Ecto Chill and Mojito.
