the first day vaping. A tad overwhelmed but with support from you I'm sure to see day 2 of my journey! Two questions, please. Do you recommend cleaning nightly? If so what method? I purchased EVOD starter kit. Secondly,:?: I see condensation in my tip. What's up with that? Looking forward to your responses.

Welcome deltadiva to the ECF,
and Howdy Neighbor,
With anything new, overwhelmed is natural, pretty soon you will be back stroking with the best. Day 2 will be better, 3 even better...
The Evod starter kit is a great platform to begin with, it is still my go to for most of the day.
Unless you are changing flavors, no....may want to get extra "tanks' for swapping out flavors. I am rotating between 5 Kanger Evod BCC tanks through the day. The condensation should be ok, the warm vape from the tank will always create moisture on the mouth piece.

Hi Delta,
Congrats on the switch. Yes i get condensation in my mouthpiece too. Nothing to worry about. I have the protank 2 which is somewhat a derivative of the evod but uses the same coil heads nonetheless if im not mistaken. I realise that some juices gunk up the coils frequently leaving black residue on tip of the coil. So every so often i disassemble the coil assembly so i can see the coil and give it a quick wipe down to clear the coils. I give the coils a wipe every 2 nights, actually clean and rinse every time i change of liquid flavours. Also i check every other night the battery connection spot to see if any liquid had seeped through and give both connections a good wipe.

Awesome that you are starting with that decent kit. Heard many great things about the evod. Just be careful of citrus, cinnamon, frost juices out there that may crack your polycarbonate tank. Good luck!

Thanks for the 411, had not heard about the citrus damaging the poly c tank! When you say coils you mean the interior of the Atty? Still learning the lingo...

This is the eVod/Protank head: DiscountVapers.com_KIanger_ProTank_coils__16476.1365104240.1280.1280.jpg

If you lift up the little rubber gasket on the top post, you can wiggle the post off. Under it, you will find a resistance wire coil wrapped around your wick (hidden under a couple of extra "flavor wicks").
