Hey all, how're things in my home state? I hope you are all enjoying your PVs and the winter which seems to have finally (sort of) arrived finally at the end of February.

I am originally from NE side of Indy, super excited that we got to host the Superbowl this year! What a great thing for my home town I'd think.

Unfortunately I no longer live here (there) though. I moved to Chicago 6 years ago, and last August moved to my wife's home state of Iowa. What a welcome change from the BIG city of Chicago! I mean don't get me wrong, Chicago was great, really enjoyed it, up until our second little one came along. It just became too much, 3rd floor condo, street parking usually a block or two away, hauling in groceries with two kids in tow...blech.

I am happy to report that Iowa is great! Reminds me so much of Indiana (yeah we're a corn state as well!) good friendly Midwestern people, laid back pace of life, though Cedar Rapids is certainly smaller than Indy, and not nearly as much to do around here, but such a great place to raise a family. I miss Indy/Indiana though. Fortunately I get to visit the folks 4 or 5 times a year though, come back to my "roots" and all.

I bought my first PV in Indy about 6 months ago actually. A cig-look a like, but it really sucked! Can't remember the brand, but harsh throat hit made me cough every time. Batteries had to be charged so frequently as well of course. It didn't help me get off the analogs like it was supposed to either. But then about 2 months ago I bought another one, a Cigalectric, also a look-a-like but a much better one. Great menthol flavor in their pre-filled cartos, battery lasted longer, pretty good for a pen-style really, 4 to 6 hours of steady vaping, 1.5 hr recharge time too. So not bad, I ended up buying2 more of the Express kits for the extra batteries so that I could always have one or two ready for action while the other was charging. Immediately got me off the analogs! Other than 1 or 2 smokes, have been analog free since January 4th!

Of course I was OBSESSED with vaping for the first few weeks, a new hobby and like all my hobbies, I throw myself totally into it. Most of my new hobbies die down after a while, but vaping is still a passion of mine, I love it! In fact, I just got my new Provari in last week! This thing is AWESOME!

Anyway just wanted to say hello to my fellow Hoosiers! Happy vaping everyone!

The only claim to fame West Middleton has had since the 20th century began is that it was the storage/home site of a circus. They have since moved out and the property has become an auction house. Before that it was a roll-off area for the underground railroad to get to the caverns near New London for regrouping before the escaped slaves were lead further along.

(Not to be confused with Peru where the circus school is...but I hear that school has fallen on hard times as well.)

I haven't lived here that long, but I like to listen to the old-timers tell stories about my parents and grandparents, that they never met, but have confused with someone they did know.

Indianapolis has no traffic, perfect example of how to loop interstate, highways, etc. it gets it's share of people passing through. Truck drivers make the move via Indy. It just doesn't seem like traffic because it's so well done. Now give me back some dough, because my roads suck & my traffic is on overflow several times a day. Wasting my time & beating up my rims. Indianapolis is the brother that takes his food & eats half of yours.
