Hi Folks,

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to all you fellow vapers out there.

I just recently started vaping to get off of analogues, and have been 99% clean for two months now. After some small hiccups, a couple of sneaked analogues here and there, and a health scare which almost put me off vaping, I have settled into vaping both physically and mentally.

Currently still using my first purchase, which so far I have been pretty happy with, and Ego-C Upgrade battery and an Aspire BDC with 1.8 ohm coils. Been fooling around with my liquids more then my rig, have settled for now on juice from flavour crafters. I'll buy the 30ml 70-30 mix and make two bottles by cutting it with 100% VG. Would welcome any thoughts on how to increase vapor production, especially with a lung inhale.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome to ECF!

You might want to try a VV/VW battery like the MVP 2 or its little brother the iTaste VV 3.0. That will allow you to boost the battery's power to produce more vapor. Higher VG juice also produces more vapor but is thick so can sometimes be tricky to wick well.

If that doesn't produce enough vapor you might want to look into building your own atomizers. Ask on ECF if you want good suggestions for a beginner. If you decide to go that route study battery safety like a new-found religion and/or stick with using one of the 20 or 30 watt regulated devices.

Welcome and congrats!!!

Oh, do you have a back-up? Eliminate all excuses.

No backup as of yet, I'm pretty piss poor at the moment, don't have a lot of money to be spending on this. I keep both Ego batteries charged and and have them both with me when I go out, along with two Aspire tanks. Honestly though, my last slip was about a week ago, and I had two puffs before I had to put it out. A 8 year Peter Jackson smoker, and it tasted disgusting, which is good.

How would I find the wattage with an Ego C? I'm using the variable voltage settings, which is from somewhere around 6 volts to 3.6 volts depending on the charge level, with a 1.8 ohm coil. I have no idea what wattage is though, and the Wiki entry for it was of no help. (my math is terrible)

Thanks

In constant mode the eGo C puts out 3.3 volts. Using a 1.8 oHm coil will give you 6.05 watts according to this oHms law calculator.

Joye uses "variable" mode to describe what is really unregulated mode. There is some discussion about the battery output in this thread, Ego-c is really 3.4 volts? Not 3.7?. The battery will be producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.7 volts for the majority of its charge cycle which will give you 7.6 watts with a 1.8 oHm coil.
