Hi! I came here to join the MadTown Vapor sub-forum, but can't post as a noob yet. Let's get my post count up... :)

Who am I? A non-smoker, and light vaper (for a few months now, mostly 0mg). I started with an ego + CE4 starter kit, quickly moved to a mini protank 2 and then added an itaste v3 to my arsenal. I've been using a kayfun mini clone from fasttech (it's a bad clone, but it works) as a dripper now, and I can do a pretty good job building coils for it and the protank... but wicking with cotton hasn't gone so well, I've gotten close (on both sides - a little too much and almost enough), but I still can't figure out the right amount to use. Some day I'll get it and my vapor will be full of flavor, unicorns, and rainbows!

Hi, and welcome to the forum! I don't see too many non-smokers on there, but I know there are a lot who do it for the flavors. Wicking is a tricky thing. You'll learn in due time how much to use and what kind you like. Just respond to posts, say hello to other new ones, whatever, and you'll get your post count up quickly.

I hate the taste and smell of tobacco, otherwise I'm sure I would have ended up being a smoker. But yeah, as a non-smoking vaper, I get the "but... why?" from just about every group - vapers, smokers, and non-smokers.

I keep a toothpick in my rebuild kit. I wick with cotton, and I find poking at it is a good way to fluff it up and adjust in and around coils.

Plus it's fun to poke things with a stick.

My last build has already been poked with a stick :)

It's weird, because it seems like the cotton collapsed instead of expanding this time. The resistance sliding it into the coil felt perfect, so I have no idea how I screwed it up.
