Welcome! When I started I was originally going to get a Duo Pro; it is a KR808D-1 and many people use this model.

Cool didn't know it was the same model. Seems to have good battery life thus far and the carts last a few days for me. I'll stick with it for now and see if I need something better down the road. Thanks!

Man, every time I come into the new vapers forum I hear a new brand name. What happens is that different companies re-brand the same models to make it seem like they have something unique. What it does is make it hard for the user to identify the model so they can shop around for the best deal on parts. Atomizers, batteries, carts, everything really, end up being disposable. Attys last about a month on average and batteries all seem to have a different life span. It all becomes so much easier when you know your model. That's why, if you read alot in here, you find most people using the same handful of models (Joye 510, DSE 901, etc.) I wish I knew what you really had. I might be able to tell ya something then. Hope it's a decent one and works for ya.
Welcome and good luck.

Yeah the more reading I do here the more I think I should have picked up a 510, but like I said I'll keep this one for now as it seems to be doing well for me, and maybe down the line grab another model. Appreciate it.

In my experience the 510 is the heavy vapor producer. If you want big clouds of vapor or throat hit or nic doses (or trying to quit smoking) then you should try a 510.

The DSE 901 and KR808D-1 are probably the second. They tend to taste better and run a little cooler. The 902 I've tried (and I think the 801 was my first).

You'd probably do well if you try refilling too.

I like madvapes.com, it's a good price. RedBull, kick azz caramel, and maple cream are my faves. You could try cinnibiscus as well if you're looking for something strong and different. Key lime freeze or RedBull if you were a menthol smoker. Kick azz caramel if you were a regular.

It costs about $10 for 10 days worth (30ml). So once you got your kit your happy with(and it sounds like you are).. it should just be $1 per day for awhile.

People like Tasty Vapors too.

Will look into that as well. Any suggestions for where to purchase and/or what to get?

There seems to be about 10 Gazillion flavors out there. I'm sure you can find any flavor you like.

What I found was that VG based e-Juice produces more vapor that PG based e-Juice. If you like Cherry I would strongly suggest this site.

American eLiquid Store

I've done 3 or 4 purchases from them and never had a problem. They also ship very quick.

Take a little time and read about refilling. It's not very hard and it will open up a world of flavors to you.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I guess my other question would be if I can buy any KR808D-1 carts to use on the Duo Pro if thats the model #? I don't see much aside from the side I bought it from listing anything with the DP name. Annoying.

The taste of juice is subjective; however, a few good venders are Tasty Vapor, Myfreedomsmokes, Ms T’s,bakery DIY flavorshack, etc.

Remember: the Duo Pro is a KR808D-1. I am 100% sure.

None of the cartomizers will have the DP name. If it says “cartomizer” it almost certainly will work with your model (KR808D-1). Generally if it says “carts” it will be for another model like the 510, 901, etc. If you are not sure, email the vendor and ask if what you want to buy will work with a KR808d-1.

Greetings! New to the forum - just got a Duo Pro a few days ago (I wish I had found this forum first as I don't see much talk about that model) so I hope I made a good choice. Hoping to learn some more here as I get adjusted. Does anyone else use a Duo Pro?

I hear that! I'm amazed at what they have come up with. Eggnog, Buttered Popcorn, Ham and Cheese.

Ham and Cheese?

Can't say that I want to taste Ham and Cheese when I vape but what the hey.

Anyway, That's what makes cartomizers cool verses atomizors. You can change flavors at the twist of the wrist. I don't think I am EVER going to be able to get the taste of Watermelon out of one of my atomizers. That's ok because it is one of my favorite flavors.
