Gross brown juice residue

So my everyday vape is a coconut cake 80vg 20pg 5mg nicotine its not clear, its a light light blonde color?? and I've noticed when I open the top of my tank to refill sometimes there will be much darker residue around the drip tip and such. Normal??

Think so, I get that with sweeter amber colored juice with cotton wick. It is more like a ruddy brown color when it gets low and gunks the wick.....More like caramelized juice. I just dump it out and rinse wicking and refill.

It's just the vaporization process... when super heating eliquid on the coil, it sizzles , pops , and gets vaporized but not all of it completely gets vaporized, the excess unvaporized juice is what your seeing

Some flavouring or liquids with high levels of sweeteners simply gunk up a lot as the flavouring has larger molecules that bind up faster and the heat will accelerates that.

As Beamslider stated.. it basically caramelizes and the residue will gum up your coil and wick (and kill the coil's lifespan), some of it will simply condense in the chimney/drip tip.

So it's annoying, but take the tip off and a rinse with hot water with remove it easily, but do expect that your coil will start tasting off as this stuff accumulates, and you'll need to change it.

Yeah, it is normal. Its just left over residue from unvaporized juice (especially sweet juice). Been vaping 4 years and it has always been the norm. Freaked us out too (fiance and I), at first.

Awesome. Thank you guys. Quit cigarettes 2 months ago and started vaping that same day. Although I have learned so much I still have much to go. You guys never let me down!!

Unflavored stays pretty clear. However, I'd rather have the flavorings and deal with a little carmelization.

I noticed a brownish coloring at the bottom of the Vaperesso tanks, I'm now using the Smok Big Baby Beast tanks, all are RBAs and Smok puts the liquid holes so low that you can't see them so the brownish coloring is gone at not seen. Sugar heats up and caramel forms further heating and you get carbon.
