Yes, unfortunately with the darker/thicker juices, you will need to clean, replace, or re-coil your wicks more often. You might play with taking out a flavor wick, so the coil chamber is not closed-off so tightly. This might help the flow of
juice. But again, the coil itself will pick up more "gunk" from the heavier juices. Tbh, I usually don't bother with dry burning. Maybe I should. I will rinse and soak once, then give it another go. I re-coil my wicks anyway, with Kanthal and silica for the coil wick, and sometimes use cotton for the flavor wick(s). So, I usually just twist up a new one when the old one is getting bad. I can typically get a week or so from each one.
