I joined up here way back when I first gave vaping a go, rarely posted, because I was too busy trying to get the stuff I bought to work, and would occasional ask a question simply out of frustration, from what I was reading and expected results.

This time I am back vaping again, started with much better hardware, and decided to start asking questions.

Now I have several hardware options I like, I just came back from a vape meet last night, and realized the people behind the answers and comments are just as cool IRL.

I thought my consistent questions to experienced users in pm, would have drove them nuts, but instead they happily answered and were crazy enough to always say if there is anything else you want to know, just ask.

People outside of pm's in the open canada forum, were just as quick and friendly to offer opinions and advice, sharing thoughts and stories.

I have attempted to share my own experiences with different things I have tried to both new and experienced people, so anyone else who feels more like just lurking can get yet another piece of information to help them decide.

So I think I am going to hang around this place and keep on keeping on :D

I know what you mean. I have yet to have a PM or email ignored. With ECF and my youtube account I have gathered so much information and my passion has grown for this .. i guess it's not a hobby.
It's wonderful. I was thinking that I could just get something that would help me quit smoking but I have so much more out of this. Now I'm meeting people IRL that are just as fun and excited about the hobby as I am. It's really cool.

I'm glad you will be around and I consider this forum and everyone my support group to not smoke anymore. It's been almost 11 months for me vaping. I think the community is awesome and so supportive too. I hope you have better luck this time around with your vaping this time with the right hardware to finally get rid of the analogs. There are so many options out there that if you ever feel you are not being satisfied while vaping, it's time to check out the other options :)

Good for you for recommitting! As you have discovered, this is an awesome forum and most of the folks here are just as committed to helping to make vaping work for as many as possible!! There are no silly questions when it comes to vaping and by asking the questions, especially on the forum, you are probably helping another few folks who may be still lurking and are too shy to ask for themselves.

Indeed, that's why I've stuck around. Even as a newb asking likely the same tired old questions hundreds or even thousands of others had asked before the folks were more than helpful. I did have a relapse as well, but that was largely due to my own ignorance and not asking the right questions (or not knowing that there were questions to be asked). But I came back to vaping and I've never been happier. I've found what works for me, juices and hardware, and have tried to turn into one of those who help others as I was helped in my noob state. :)

Yeah, there's drama here occasionally and we've had a few trolls unfortunately, but you kind of expect that in any growing community. You deal with it (or have it dealt with if it needs mod intervention) or just ignore it and keep going. I've enjoyed every moment of my time here and plan to continue doing so for the foreseeable future, and I'm glad you do, too.

Yeah Mindfield, I really appreciated all your insight on questions I was at first worried to ask in the forum, being forums what they are typically known for.

However, the occasional drama and/or troll here is nothing compared to so many other forums I goto.

The Signal to noise ratio here is waaaaay in favour of the help over the hinderance.

It is the answers, and also the supportive voices in the forums that is something else you can count on to help you with the switch.

Glad you're sticking around. This place kept me sane and productive when I first started and I've seen it blossom into a killer community, in which I've made a ton of great friends.

Zeeker: You know you've got to come out for our Niagara Region Vape meet we're trying to organize. It might even be in St. Kitts as most of us are living there!

Funky was another one I bugged the poop (pg-13 version of the word) in pm as well :)

Yes zeeker if you have the option check out a vape meet!! I was just at one, and it was exactly the opposite of just how awkward I thought it was going to be. I assumed it would be a struggle to talk with people, and even prepared an "unfortunately I have leave leave after this drink story" just for that very reason.

Ended up we closed the place down and excitedly talk about when we were all going to do it again.

The other awesome side of it was I got to try juices I would have never thought I would have liked, got to try some hardware I always wondered if it lived up to the hype, and again had an awesome time.

The one bad thing was that Cobber let me try some BWB RY4 that was scumptumdummilidelcious and was an OMG that is sooooo good moment, only to tell me getting it was like seeing halley's comet, which made my taste-buds cry :D

I know what you mean about the juice ... I have to have the AVE juice now. Its was awesome!!! My wife wants the C&D and I have to have the Gorilla Juice. Lucky for me I can order it any time I want, unlike the BWB RY4. I'm always on the search for a good RY4 so if I find one I'll be sure to let you know.

Yeah I was thinking of getting some of the C&D, bobas bounty, and the Christy's Cappuccino

I am not a banananananananananananaaaaaanananaa type guy, so the gorilla is out unless the betterhalf wants it :)

oh PS.

What was that juice of yours I thought I would hate but it was good? Mint squiggle or something?

I do not prefer sweet flavours, but really dig the gorilla juice. Try a sampler of it, I was surprised and now it is in rotation with Bobas, Flue cured and Havana as my all day vapes. Be aware though that most Alien Vision juice is 100% VG and can be hard on an atomizer and really don't work too well in cartomizers. I used to get a couple of days out of a cartomizer and a week or 2 out of a standard joye 510/306 atomizer. I use cisco and ikenvape atomizers and get much better longevity out of these then joye or other atomizers.

I find the C&D to really lack the throat hit for me. I keep a 30ml around as a backup in case I run out of my all day vapes. I have a bunch of Vapenstien tobacco extract blends from want2vape and some Halo juices I will bring to the next meet for anyone to try. I can't seem to vape these and also keep them as a backup. If you really like authentic tobacco flavours, these are it.

Thanks for the info dude and yeah I would like at least one authentic tobacco flavour in my rotation. I haven't found my ohh yeah all day everyday flavour, although I was getting into the jokesmoke sample but then it was gone so maybe when the 50mls arrive today I will find out if that is the one.

I also got a bunch of different ones to try out and thanks to the contest from jays show, 5 more to be playing with. I have the hardware part down ( for now lol unless more shiny stuff comes around ) now to find the juice.

Although getting a reo has been stuck in my head since you let me play with yours :D
